I have run it on a small real account since April 20. Nine trades so far each for a small profit. No big gains & no losses to date. Trade dates have been April 21, 22, 28, 29, May 5, 6, 7 (two trades), and 8th.
Trades only once per day but not on Sunday or Monday. Trades at 0:00 (Midnight) GMT. Can take a couple of days for first trade.
Will work all the way down to about $50.00 micro account with .01 lots fixed.
So far so good.
I have had the MegaDroid on a live account for about 4 weeks. I have had 2 loosing trades and all the rest have been positive. It has paid for itself. To achieve the results on the website you need to be 'aggressive' on risk management--set to 10% to 20%. This can be very high and uncomfortable for some traders. The lastest version tells you what lot size the next trade will be, hence you can change the risk management level to generate lot size trades you are comfortable with.
It trades only the EUR/USD and typically it trades only around a certain time--just before the Asian market opens. In addition, you should realize it is a 'scalper' of 15 pips or less if it detects that the trade may be bad. It trades both shorts and buys. I have also set the 'Aggressive mode' on which is suppose to accelerate recovery from a bad trade. I have been pleased with the product--it does not crash my trading account.
They have been responsive to my questions and support. There are scams out there. The biggest ones of the EA or robot variety are those website that post fantastic results, which are only results of back testing and not from current live trading accounts. This one seems to be ok.
Sounding good so far. Still no trades for me however, still waiting![]()
Well just checked my VPS i have had my first trade now and it was a winner
I really like megadroid the main reason, very simple imputs, there is really nothing to select, just true or false for a few things and what risk you want![]()
I just got it and have run it for 2 days on my live account.
It made $8 in its first trade so far.
It must really prepare itself incredibly well to enter a trade, hence the time it takes for it to open one. Like the authors of this bot say, this is a trading bot, not a gambling bot. If you want to see lots of trades going like crazy, you'd have more fun at a casino blowing your money.
