yes you could be right, i thought gomarkets were changing over to 5 digit ECN feed so they could give us the best spreads possible, it looks like they ar not.
I have never see 3 to 3.5 for eurusd however maybe i am not looking at the right time, if this is the case i will get in contact with them!

I contacted GoMarkets earlier today and they were unaware of the spread issue, I had to forward my MD trading journal so they could see the "spread exceeded limit" with the times it was occuring. When they got back to me they said no one had brought up the issue but some of their staff had mentioned that their own MD EA's had stopped trading and they would look further into it as anything above 4 was wrong.
From what you have said it seems like they looked into it and if something gets done, EXCELLENT!!!
Also I mentioned earlier about their out of ours trade desk being changed, they informed me that their number changed to a direct number but its still the same desk.

I am not sure why they said they were not aware of the problem or issue they told me something different and they also said that others have been having the same problem as me, eiither way they now know there is an issue one and they better fix it soon .
Were the prices wrong as well? You'd have thought Currenex would be just supplying the bid and ask prices and GoMarkets's software would work out the spread themselves.
In MQL you can get the spread a couple of ways: by taking the difference between bid and ask or using the MarketInfo(MODE_SPREAD) function. If MetaQuotes wanted to provide a broker with a feature to play with the spreads without changing the prices they could easily use this function. Maybe being a bit paranoid but we know that the brokers have other options (not neccessarily used by all) to thwart profitable EAs.
I was thinking about using GoMarkets. Apart from this issue, are these guys good?
they have been a great broker, this is the only issue i have come accross, however they say it will be fixed so for now i will take them at there word.
This has only been a 1 or 2 week problem max, prior to that all scalpers have been making consistant profits, all i can do is give them a few more weeks to see if they have worked out the problem.
Either way i am still happy with them and would recommend then to anyone!

well the problem has been fixed megadroid is back trading with gomarkets and making quite a few trades now and all profitable

Have others just recently had a bad run with MD. I'm with GoMarkets and didn't have a loss for months but since they have "fixed" the spread issue I have had two very small wins followed by 2 large losses on the one day and another large one today.
