Its only been a week, but Forex Shocker has performed well in our forward testing.
Hey everybody, get this:-
I just purchased Forex Shocker, and I immediately put it on a live account, (despite it being unable to authenticate yet.)
I contacted the forex shocker support in regards to getting my forex shocker authenticated, and so I waited for about 24 hours until they could get back to me with the authentication code.
....in the meantime, the EA traded with live money anyway.... (making a profit too, I might add!)
Go figure. I guess the piracy protection isn't working properly on it!
(no doubt there'll be an update to version 1.0 in the future!)
Wow, that's great news and please keep us posted with your live progress. And yes today Shocker has posted phenomenal profits all over without a single negative. But watch out for critical news day and turn it off for the entire day - even after the news....just my two cents to play it safe to hold onto your profits.
OUCH... well the EURGBP just gave my account a beating. It made a huge sell trade and shaved off $200 from my account. It was supposed to scalp late at night, but the trade just kept running all day and finally wiped a chunk out!
We see this activity on the live tests they experience as well - mostly does ok until it blows chunks. Lets hope it doesn't wipe my account out!
It was a bad day for GBP in general, but the warning went off in my head when it had trades open going FAR out and into the next trading day, and into the European open. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it let me down.
I think I may just stick Forex Shocker on the Forex Majors (lower spreads) and forget the Forex minors. It can't open more trades than margin will allow anyway, and if it's going to have a go at the market, a lower spread pair seems a lot better. There was a point the EURGBP trades could have closed in profit, but perhaps the spread just pipped them at the post.
I recouped one third of my loss last night off the majors. Another two trading nights of this kind of activity and I'll be back to square one again.
I agree with you about cutting the minors. Looking back on the last few weeks of trades the Eur/Gbp was the biggest loser among currencies EA Shocker traded. So far I've eliminated two currencies, Usd/Cad & Eur/Gbp with four left - Eur/Gbp, Gbp/Usd, Usd/Chf & Eur/Chf.
In another week I'll be going live with Shocker as well. In the mean time I am wishing you the most profits
The other thing I may do is add other EAs to my live shocker account. Shocker only trades 2 hours a day, and if some other bot can pick up the slack in it's off-peak hours - that will also help out.
