Default Sniper Forex EA [5 digit broker]

    WBR

I have also experienced these indicators "repainting" too. Very disconcerting if the signals change if the chart is refreshed.

    Have you experienced this?

    Cheers

I think you are going to need a pro coder to get that to happen, other wise i have no idea. It seems to work well for me, maybe it also has something to do with your broker, not sure.

According to the manual charts / indicators I have been getting a signal at least once (on average) per session (London). So, the EA should be getting the same but I is trading very infrequently.

Wonder if this EA can be modified to trade exactly as per the Sniper entry rules?

    Thanks

no i have not experienced these indicators repainting, then again if i leave the EA alone on autopilet and dont keep tabs on it, then maybe it does i really cant say.

I do know that it has made me some good money in the past using the free EA from funyoo, of course if you want it to work exactly like it should then you are going to have to find one of those guru coders!

I have adjusted the settings on this EA to try and match the original signals generated by the manual Sniper program and have run the two programs on seperate accounts over the same time frames. They appear to generate trade alerts pretty much in parallel with each other. I have found the easiest way to check if the EA is generating signals is to set it running on a one min chart. It should be attempting to trade every 15 mins or so in an active market.

The recommended Sniper period setting by the original vendor is 30 for optimal results on GBP/USD. I have lowered this to 5 which does generate more trades but appears to follow the price action more closely and eliminates some of the lagging effect, interested to know if anyone else has tried this?

There are still some settings in the EA I would like guidance on:- What does the breakeven and trailing step options do? Should the automatic SL and TP options be set to false if you are setting your own SL and TP parameters in the EA?

There is an active forum on TW2 for trading the Sniper manual version.

BE takes your stop to BE once your desired target is set. Say you set that at 50 once that price has moved 50 pips above your entry level then it will automatically place a stop at the price you entered that market at, so you will breakeven if the prices falls back down.

I always leave auto SL and TP to false, i have found in my tests that it can sometimes produce dud signals, why i have no idea, i prefer to set my TP and SL manually, i have found that to be more safe espeicially in live trading!

    Default EA Testing Results

I am running multiple tests of ther Sniper EA on different time frames on the same trading account. When I look at my account history all the trades are listed but I cannot identify which instance of the EA generated the trade and the time frame. Is there a way to obtain and link this info for each trade?
