London Open Trading
Hi all,
I recently bought this (www.londonforexopen.com) as it fits in well with my trading day and the results on the website seem pretty good.
Has anyone else any experience of this (ie. actual past results etc) and/ or any pointers for trading with it.
I'm currently paper trading the system and can post my weekly results if anyone is interested.

Some of its demerits are:

Still plugging away with this one (slight adjustment to the profit targest over the last few months and also trading on additional pairs - EURUSD). Seems it has started to come back to form as the breakouts in early morning are getting stronger. Anyone else using this?

Interesting to see if anyone is trading this system. It seems little known (obviously!) which is a shame for many as its been making some good pips for the limited window that it trades.

Hi Auriniff. I've been doing some testing on this Profitable Forex Breakout Trading Strategy | MetaTrader Indicator | London Forex Open . I'm just back off holiday and have started trading again from the start of September and have decided to go live with this system. Had a cracking month so far with over 700 pips profit booked!
The crazy thing is the system trades the gbpusd which from my testing so far, while it gives quite good results, doesn't seem to be the best pair to trade. (initially eurusd looks to have performed better over the last couple of years).
I hope to be running some more tests and trying out different profit targets etc over the next week or so. I can post what I find if you are interested?

A quick update a to how I've got on with this. Bumper profits in September - able to book over 500 pips profit on the GBPUSD.
October has started slower, being knocked stopped out of a potential winning position for 3 pips. However was able to book some profits this week to leave me up so far for the month. I am also logging trade performance on the EURUSD in a demo account for this month after doing a slow paperwork exercise of testing back the strategy on this pair for the last three months.
