    Hello all, I am just curious what "PriceActionFilter" will actually do if I set it to equal to PriceActionFilter=TRUE?

    thanks

    Hello sam_ye2001,

    This option doesn't work, you can ignore it. It was supposed to filter the signals if the current close is over the open of the current bar. I should have replace the current close by the current price.

    Default How to make v2 and v2.04 work on 5-Digit Broker

    Hi,
    I'm using GOMarkets as a broker...

    They have just convert their 4-Digit to 5-Digit today 1-June.
    I have changed the following by multiplying 10:

    MaximunSpread = 5 (default) -> 50
    MarginPiPs = 23 (default) -> 230
    StopLoss = 69 (default) -> 690
    TakeProfit = 24 (default) -> 240

    With the above changes the equity graph just goes downtrend and flaten out.
    Don't not work...

    I have tried the v2 (5-digit) does not work either...

    Can some help?
    Is there any settings that I missed out?

    Please advise.
    Thanks.

    I too am with GoMarkets and found that their saved history is corrupt in your platform due their 5 digit change over. To correct it I found if you did a new backtest with the largest timeframe available then once complete do a new one with the desired timeframe (H1) it fixed it. In saying that I have never done a daily test on the EUR/USD to have that history previously stored.
    Other than that you can within MT4 go to ''Tools" ----> "History Center" and try to delete the history but I couldn't get mine to work that way.

    If you get yours to work I'm using V204 but cant get it to trade short, any feedback would be appreciated,

    Dono.

    Hi Dono,

    Can you confirm these are the parameters to change for 5-Digit broker ?
    MaximunSpread = 5 (default) -> 50
    MarginPiPs = 23 (default) -> 230
    StopLoss = 69 (default) -> 690
    TakeProfit = 24 (default) -> 240

    I took the risk to make the changes above for v2.04 and lots size of 0.05, which it open 0.04 and 0.01 lot size for my AUS250 account.

    Currently the vForce v2.04 is doing very well on EURUSD and it closes all the Long Positions very nicely with profits. All LONG positions so far.

    Hey, jusForex.

    Yeah, just dont forget

    extern int Slippage = 30; ........was 3.

    I think it should trade short as back on the 1st or 2nd page of posts it is addressed in an updated version that only traded long positions. I assumed having V204 it would still be working. In my backtests no matter how far back I go it just trades Long.

    Anyway good luck,

    Dono.

    Default vForce Like EA v2 (5 digits)

    Hi Funyoo,

    The vForce Like EA v2 (5 digits) is a great EA. Thank you for your effort.

    Could you please add some more functions to this EA ?

    Move.To.BreakEven.at.pips=15
    Move.To.BreakEven.Lock.pips=5 (trades in profit will move to entry price +5 pips as soon as trade reach +15 pips, so we'll lock 5 pips profit in case it goes again).

    And

    Continue trading = true/false (it will not open new trade after closed if set Continue trading = false).

    Thank you again for your help.

    Default ecn broker

    GoMarkets is also ECN style now and I haven't been able to get v2 5 digits to trade as yet. Is it going to work on an ecn platform do you think?

    The USD is weak now, it will trade long for this pair for awhile.
    I got the same trades also that you show here, plus 3 nice sell
    trades on the USDCHF pair still in downward trend.

    cheers !

    Default Time Periods discrepancy

    I've been following this thread for a few weeks now, and I love the ver 2.03--now that it's taking Short positions too.

    It's successful on my Alpair US acct demo. I'm going live with it this week if I can understand the following:

    SEE Attached Example. The times just CAN'T be right, can they? The times that appear on the 'Trade' tab are always much earlier than real GMT time that appear on the charts.

    What have I done wrong?

    Thanks, Johnny
