    I use v1.1 and changed to a four digit broker. Backtesting shows an "order send error 4107". How to fix this? What generates this error code? Broker issue? 5 digit broker has no error codes.

    Would this added to v1.1 fix this?

    NewPoint = 0.0001;
    if (Digits < 4) NewPoint = 0.01;

    Default VForce 1.1.1

    Hey sbwent,

    I found the VForce 1.1.1 on these forums, but so far, I haven't been able to track it down. In the meantime, try the attached files (MQL4 source and settings file), and try it out. So far, my FXDD demo account, on a M15 chart, is doing very well. I'm still puzzled why it does show a close approximation to the M15 back testing results I posted earlier. I know back testing is only used as a starting point, but I would expect to see a fairly close correlation to live demo tests and back tests.

    Looks like I need to continue the research...

    Hi fxrobot,

    Is vforce like ea v1.1.1 different from vforce like ea v1.1? If yes, what's the difference? Thanks.

    Hi fxrobot,
    I see the vForce 1.1.1 you just posted still has the "StoM>StoS" error that Gordon spotted. Should be "StoM<StoS" in the 2nd if statement, the one for the "SELL="true"". See posts 341 & 342.

    Have you done any backtests or optimizing on v202, Funyoos latest version.
    I see the v201 & 02 series uses the current bars for its vetting, doesnt include the previous bar set of variables.

    cheers bt2

    Hi, fxrobot, I am a newbie and was wondering where do I place the setting file? I already know how to put in the ex4 file, but dont know where to put the set file. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

    This version 1.1.1 that was just posted above is the same as the original (v1) in post #1. I see no differences in code.

    I have counted ten versions so far. The original (v1), v1.1, v1.2, v2, v2.01, v2.01a, v2.02 and there are v2.03, v2.04, v2.04A from maximf.

    And with Meta5, there will be more to follow.

    Hi bizkit516,

    You place the .set file within the preset folder. Look at post #161.

    I must have renamed the v1.1 version to v1.1.1 when I downloaded the MQL4 source file. Windows placed a [1] into the file name - I must have deleted the "[]" characters and kept the number...thanks for the heads up super6!

    bt6, I see the source code error you are talking about, but doesn't this apply to v2 and above? Currently, my FXDD demo account using M15 chart is really bring home the pips. I half expect it to start tanking, based on the back testing results I've seen. Still, I cannot correlate the demo test data with back testing data. I should see similar, but not exact, results between demo and back testing. But so far, all efforts to do so have failed.

    Just for the record, the settings and MQL4 source I posted have performed very well in a H1 chart on back testing, but using a M15 chart on a demo account. Can any one explain why this could be happening?

    Hi fxrobot,
    Funyoo fixed that error in v202, see page 33 post 323. He says needs re-optimize now, cause its a structure change (fix).

    I also run my versions in M15, in FXDD demo. More trades to get things moving & check ea's trade handling. But I have not worked out if it would run better in H1. Thats why I asked if you had done backtest on v202. Would be great if you could, over the exact same time period & chart you did the v1.1 over.

    Would be interesting to do the same with a "fixed" v1.1

    I get the occasional Sl hit, a bit too often. Appears to be reduced a bit by tightening the expire period.

    I have loaded up the indicators on a separate chart to get a feel for when orders could be coming. The psar has a big effect on wether the ea is finding only long or only short trades, for quite long periods. Thats part of the catching trends I guess.

    cheers bt2

    PS: I think LaBourse & Lordorly highlited this error earlier. Some get better sells results than buy results. Its the sell logic that had the "error".
