    I tryed to backtest your AE with your settings, but i got many
    errors 130 and 131.... after searching the net i found, that this
    have something to do wit Lot sizes.... but the EA will not work,
    even when i change some parameter (you have to know, i am a noob
    in changing EAs)

    can yuo help me please ????????

    when i made a manual trade, the broker give mit the option to choose:
    0.1 / 0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 as lot sizes

    so i think 0.1 is the minimum lot a can choose.

    what do i have to change in EA settings

    Hi remaster and welcome,

    The EA enters two orders. One with 80% of the lots size, and the other with 20% of the lots size. You have to choose the good lots size depending on the broker's options. The minimum volume that you cant set on the EA will be 0.5 lots with your broker.

    wow, thank you for that fast response!
    now i understand that EA a little bit more and
    the backtest start :-)

    but the equity curve goes down wile the bilanz goes slowly up.
    at the end there is a fatal case an you lost all your money...

    why is it so????? margin call ????

    The i changed the RiskMM parameter from false to true (thought
    that menas MoneyManagement - is it right ???) and again i get
    an 131 error... is this the money management and does this setting
    changes the lot size to a size, my broker doesn't support?

    No, that happens sometimes. You have to download again the history data.

    About the result, you should do your own optimization, as each broker has its own way to react with each indicator.

    can someone tell me, why the equity in post #14 goes up closely to the balance but on my system with same settings (post #53), the equity moves up and down
    in big steps end at the end it crashes the results down because the small equity occures???

    i know, it is a little bit different from one broker to another, but is it
    also the reason for such big equity differences?

    does someone can tell me from his experince, what the problem in most case
    could be??

    Hi arnex, What did you do to crank your modeling quality up to 90%.
    I would love to be able to achieve that.
    I'm just learning how to do tests on my IBFX demo & keep getting na or 25% quality.

    Just from the forward post the errors were only in 2009th year, in the next post I didn`t put 2009th year in the backtest. I changed a littlebit the code and the second lot is with TP.

    Is it possible that anyone can ad an option to "vForce like EA2" that you can set the used lotsize in percent, not in absolut sizes?
    The EA places 2 orders in lotsizes, pending on the settings.
    But if the ea makes profit, it could use higher lotsizes to optimize
    and raise the profit.


    the following option could be very nice:

    Percent of available equity to use for each of the 2 orders.
    defined lotsizes, that the ea will use when the equity changes,
    so that there are no strange lotsizes the the size is calculated
    through the percent settings:

    for example.

    my brocker supports the following lotsizes:

    0.1 / 0.2 / 0.3 / 0.4 / 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

    when the used lotsize for the next order is calculated from
    the available equity, the EA uses the next lower possible lotsize,
    that is exepted from the broker.

    Example: Equity is 4899 - the setting is "10 percent of available equity for next order" leverage is 100:1 - so the used equity for next trade would be 489,90

    because the broker doesn't accept an order in a lotsize, that uses
    489,9 (Lotsize = 0.4899 with 100:1 leverage) it uses the next lower size
    = 0.4

    can somebody implementate this in vForce like EA2 ????

    i saw theres a risk management in this ea.
    is this the option i asked for???
    if yes, can someone explain me the settings: RiskPercent / MinLots / MaxLots ???
    a tryed several seetings, but everytime i get an OrderSend Error 131 that means a invalid lotsize...
