Hi,

It is determined like this :

If the distance between the open and the high is bigger than the distance between the open and the low, then we go long.

If the distance between the open and the high is smaller than the distance between the open and the low, then we go short.

The close has to be equal to the open.

7. thanks. i will suggest a new ea then

8. Hi funyoo, Would you be willing to modify the directional strategy to create another version of this EA? I think it may be profitable with the following modifications.......

1. Cancel the rule that the close has to be equal to the open. Keep the other rules the same.

2. When a buy signal happens place a buy stop pending order 15 pips(user adjustable) from the high

3. When a sell signal happens place a sell stop pending order 15 pips(user adjustable) from the low

4. expiration of pending orders in hours........Expiration 4 hours default (user adjustable)

6. breakeven......move SL to B.E. when prices reaches X pips

Thank you for considering these mods for another version of this strategy. And thank you for all of the EA's that you have shared on this forum. cheers,Fritz
