This week forward test SL=90, reverse=true
This week it stopped out twice, but almost recovered by the end.
I don't see any point to widen stop any further. Entries can be rather improved with MACD. With reverse=true it picks many tops and bottoms, sometimes sharp. When it doesn't, then it's easy to filter with MACD. I am thinking to use it as visual indicator for visual trading. It needs Alert, can someone add alert option?
Forward test Alpari. Unprofitable until last day.
All of my backtesting produce heavy drawdowns. Forward tests on IBFX were less profitable. It was mixed with other EAs and would be confusing to show. Last day Alpari was up on spikes and drops from Non-Farm Payroll report.
MT7-- I think you are right about trading manually, as it does seem to catch some spikes sometimes when they happen. If there was a methodology to filter some of the bad trades. I am afraid the forward test would have been unprofitable if it weren't for the surprise with that report, that occurred yesterday morning. My work is demanding too much time from me right now to be able to test manual system and I cannot find enough evidence to spend much more time with it now. When I manually tested before, it was in forward, based upon the MQ4 article about Ichimoku, Tenkan and Kiju. The conditions occurred so infrequently that it was impossible to monitor pairs without some sort of alert, like you say. Unfortunately, I do not know how to code it into an indicator, but ran across a couple of indicators that were in colored bar form that at least made conditions for trading more apparent. I will try to find them and post.

Fortunately I did not delete them. One of them had trouble with the visibility of the bars on some pairs. Maybe they will help, though. I do not think they had alerts, but cannot remember.

Maybe an OsMA with short periods could pick up an earlier signal than MACD.
No I meant adding alert into Funyoo EA - it monitors 3 time frames - it's real fancy indicator. So you can run it on Active trades demo just as indicator, so it will ring the bell and you can use it as a ready to go reversal setup either upcoming, sharp or slightly in progress with 90 pip stop easy. And it's easy to filter few bad ones with MACD, if they are clearly trending against position. So wait till MACD confirms and you have a winner - easy. It will also improve even good signals. Actualy it makes it perfect, cause you are being alerted in advance and have time to prepare (most of the time).
It becomes like a RadarScreen in Trade Station.

I got a message from strategy tester says that "There were 1 passes done during optimization, 1 results have been discarded as insignificant"
What is that mean ? can someone explain to me ?
