Default v2 LIVE DEMO (EMA FILTER)

    Hi Funyoo,
See The Result Of One Night Trading With The Addition Of Filter.

I Still Want To Suggest That 'time Filter' Be Added To Resisrict Ea From Trading The Asian Market Which Is Non-trending.

    Thanks For Your Great Work.

    Hello Joe Traderfx,

I too am playing around with the moving averages and would like to know which ones you are thinking are going to work best.

Also would like to give a big thanks for all the help funyoo has been to this group.
I don't know squat about coding but I do have near 19 years of market analysis and think I might have something to add to the group.

I think scalping EA's are not where people should be putting their time and energy. I'm glad to see some people working with an EA that works with trends and EMA's.

    Good trading to everyone,

    David9

    hi,
i have given up on this ea, cos it is only fine when there is strong trend. when the market is sideways it loss alot.
the ema filter did not do much.

Right now my attention is on "MartingailExpert v1 Stochastic" thread. this EA appears more promises.

    good luck

    Hello funyoo,

I'm wondering if your still working with this EA. I think it has potential but can't say I fully understand it.
When I'm taken out of a trade with a stop loss, it seems to immediately put on another trade. Is that the way it is suppose to work? Always be short if the market is below the 50 EMA and the two smaller MA's have crossed to the downside?

Thanks in advance for any help,

    David9

    Hi david9,

No, I'm not currently testing this EA, or working on it.

Concerning the other orders opened directly, it depends on the version. Check the other posts of the thread.

    Hello funyoo,

Thanks for the reply. The last EA posted is in post 16 and any before that post wouldn't have the ( 50 EMA filter) or the time restrictions to keep the EA from trading the non trending Asian market. I think these features are a plus.

So far the EA has made 5 trades.
1 loser, -$26.00, 3 winners, the biggest being $307.00 and currently up $40.00 on its fifth trade. Lot size is 0.10

The problem is I use a stop loss (I don't think it would matter if I used a T/P) and as soon as I get stopped out to protect myself from giving all the profits back, it puts another trade on, in the same direction I just closed out. Hmm.
If there is anyone out there still working with EA I'd appreciate some feed back.
    Thanks in advance,
And thanks funyoo for all u do,

    David9
