Thank you very much Funyoo for modifying the EA, i have taken the idea one step forward by adding the pivot to the conditions.

    the new strategy:
    long
Demarker goes below 0.3 and bounces back over that level
price has to be above sar and first support of the pivot
target is when demarker goes beyond 0.7

    vice versa for short.

so this version does not have fixed target nor fixed levels for averaging. i believe that this is a better approach but we might get negative trades - but also will never blow the account. lets discuss it.

attached is the version as i have worked it so far - it still needs some fine tuning of the indicators, i leave it in your hands for now as my weekend just started...i am living in dubai

with the GET LUCKY someone needs to be really lucky, but it can make some serious $$$ with a little initial investment, i personally think it is worth trying and you really have to go aggressive with the percentage invested like at least 3% and manually interfere whenever needed, but will always have the risk of losing the account

Funyoo, i used the same parameters setting with the get lucky results that you posted but i did not get the same results, i think my backdata is not that great would you please tell me how to fix it!
what is the .set file in your first post, i couldnt open it.

Does this EA hedge? Just wondering if it can be used on USA brokers with these new idiotic NFA rules.

    Hi Pete
First , congratulations for your work.
I've backtested your new version PP DM ( 1st pic ) and unfortunately the results for 2008-2009 are bad.
    Funyoo's version ( 2nd pic ) is working fine.
    Any idea ?

    Hi all,

this is a great forum and I am happy I found my way here. Thanks to Funyoo.

A stoploss would be a good addition to funyoo's EA, so could someone please add it?

    Hi Madscalp,
No good resutls so far for the PPDM, it still needs fine tuning of the indicators - i will try different SAR and diff periods and levels for DeM as well as diff TFs. I will do some tests in the coming days and post the results. I think it will be safer than the previous version but not sure if it will be as profitable - just trying, lets see.
    Take Care,
    Cheers!

    Hi,

Here are some settings that worked fine during 2009!

Two instances during May and July that ruined the progression of the curve - I will try to still imporve.

    Few pointers to imporve:
    1. Fine tune conditions to take high probability trades.
    2. Proper Money management can still imporve on the results - when averaging, losing trades will spoil the curve if you are increasing the amount of lots every trade - I might have a solution

    Default Getting Better!!

    [QUOTE=pete_36;16724]Hi,

    Here I am again

I have added the ATR for volatility as a new dimension for entry conditions, looks I have better results! The level of ATR used is optimized for 2009 - I am trying to have this level variable along the different readings of ATR, I wasnt able to coded it though as my coding skills failed me here, if any coder can help with this, I have few ideas - might work might not but worth trying.

Attached 2 different EAs with the following conditions:
    - v2.2: Pivot, Sar, ATR and Demarker have to all agree
    - v2.3: Sar, ATR and Demarker have to all agree

    Results
    - v2.2: less profit DD 50%
    - v2.3: more profit DD 87%

I had an instance while testing through 2008 that doesnt comply with the conditions, below pic, if someone has an explanation!

I still want to test variable lot size according to account size but i am not able to figure out which function to use,
here is what i want to do: round-down 1.3 or 1.8 (above or below 1.5 for that matter) to get 1 as result - skip the decimals (the MathRound and NormalizeDouble are rounding to the neareast integer).

All files are here, I want to hear all of your comments, am I doing good or bad

I am not doing any more tests today, my eyes are so tired!

    Regards,
