    i'm going to forward test with H4, TP=300, SL=0

    thanks for this EA
Yes, it's hard to have something that generates good results on smaller timeframes.

No that's ok. These versions will allow you to modify the levels for the first version (20-80) and v1.2 (20-50-80) or to have a supplementary confirmation for v1.1 (the signals are only good if the wave is under the low level or over the high level).

Hi all. Could you post the entry rules for v1.2? I know a certain amount of the stochs have to be over/under the limits, with the rest above/below the mid point, but I could not find the specifics....

    thanks....

    Hi mrkam,

    Welcome to this board.

All the oscillators have to be under one of the three levels (the same one) at a bar and to be over this level at the second or the third bar.

Thanks, nice to be here... so, to confirm, for v1.2, all Stochs over 80, then all under 80 within the next two bars, enter a BUY,, correct?

Where does the mid-level of 50 come in. It is in the inputs so figure it must do something!!!

    thanks again...

    Mark

Almost, it enters a sell not a buy.

It's the same thing, all stochs over 50, then all under 50 within the next two bars, it enters a sell.

Thanks for the clarifications... sorry to pester, just trying to get to the logic...

There is a "Reverse" function on the EA... how does that function? I know if a trade runs to profit, then gets a reverse signal, the profit trade is closed and the new opposite trade is opened. Stop and reverse, always in.. ...So I don't understand what the Reverse input does...

And, hopefully the last one!! what does the "filter" in the name refer to.. is there an additional filter built in or something?

    thanks much!!!

The reverse option reverses the nature of the orders. If in the rules, the system is suppose to enter a buy order at a moment, then if the reverse option of the EA is enabled, it will enter a sell order at this moment instead of a buy order.

For the first version, the filter is not really a filter, it allows you to modify the levels where the signals have to appear. There is no other filter.

There is 3 different versions, look at the screenshots. The best is supposed to be the first one, according to the backtesting.
