Thread: Ten Stochs Wave EA

  1. #41

    Default Clarification

If the first version is the best according to backtest i guess the tpl file v1.1 is for the first version am i right?

Secondly, from the user guide, it seems trades would be taken manually when the stochs meets the right conditions? Or Does the EA take Trades when the Stochs meets the right conditions?

What are the differences between the versions?

First version template : Ten Stochs Wave EA

I suggest that you watch the screenshots to understand the different entry rules (with the arrows). You can also do some backtesting.

The rules are also explained on these posts :

    First version : http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/402-post1.html
    Second version : http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/405-post4.html
    Third version : http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/406-post5.html

Note that I have not got good results in demo. It should be good (theorically) only on long-term. You have to test it on one year.

Is the EA meant to automate the manual trade? i.e if i dont want to trade it manully?

According to the first rule :

You buy when all the stochastics are over 80,
You sell when all the stochastics are under 20.
Is this the reverse or opposite of a normal STOCH? (buying when stoch is overbought at 80 or selling when the stochs is oversold at 20)?
Then how does the theory applies.

That's correct, this is the opposite.

    Thanks,

i'm think that this method based on idea SP (Stochastic Pop) by Jake Bernstein's book "Day trading" modyfing by use not one , but 10 different stoch.

    take a example:
1.all stoch are up 80% -Buy Open
    2.TP close buy f.e..XXX..pips
3.after close by TP ,price begin going down but all stoch are still above 80 , so Open buy trade
how to avoid that case ?
