    Funyoo,

    Please take a look at the attached screen shot, neither Double VQ MACD or Double VQ MACD 1.1 opened trades. Any ideas on why?

    Hi Litemup96,

    No idea, sometimes there are conflicts between indicators, that's maybe why.

    Default Vq V.3 Ea

    It's correct ?
    So the SL and TP are 0 ?
    I did some sample backtesting on the VQ v.3 EA. I realised the trade only enters on the next candle/bar prior to the signal, rather than immediately at current market price. This makes many profitable trades into losing trades.

    Is this normal? If not, how can this be resolved?

    Default Crash parameter

    Hello Funyoo and all members!

    just a quick question. What is supposed to do the "Crash" parameter used by VQ indicator? It is set at "false" and never reset by the code.

    if (Crash && CountBars>0){CountBars=CountBars-10; IndicatorShortName("Crash: "+CountBars+" ");}
    if (Crash && CountBars<0) IndicatorShortName("Crash");

    It seems to be used only to decrease the CountBars variable. Why?

    Just courious.
    Many thanks

    Hi skipper,

    If there is not enough tick data on the chart or if there is a hole in the data, then the indicator will replace the name of the indicator window by "Crash". It's just an alert if you see some drawing issues with the indicator.

    HI Funyoo.

    Thanks a lot for this great effort. I've been following this thread since the beginning because I use this indicator in my strategy, and I depend on it 90% of the times.

    by the way, is it possible that the EA can enter 2 positions and one of them closes after reaching some pips say 9 pips and the other one stays open till the opposite signal?

    Also, can you please add the martingale property, please??

    Best wishes,
