    Default iLRegressionBands EA

If the upper band of the indicator goes up, down and up, then we enter a buy order.

If the lower band of the indicator goes down, up and down, then we enter a sell order.

    Hi Pheniox,

You have to set the stoploss and the breakevengain has to be higher than "breakeven + stoploss".

Ok somehow I miss the logic in this.
When I program a piplock I set the beakeven to say 15 pips and the pip lock to say 8 pips so when the breakeven or profit hit 15 pips it moves the stoploss to 8 pips profit and if it reverses at all I have locked in 8 pips.

From what I have run here with your coding I have a "0" stoploss on the buy and the sell and a breakeven at 15 and a breakevengain at 8 and on the buy orders it works fine but the sell orders it does not work.

I do not understand why I would want to set the gain higher than the breakeven. The breakeven setting should be set to move the stoploss once we are in profit.

If default is stoploss "0" and trailing stop 100 or whatever once we are in profit the EA sets the stoploss at 100 pips I understand that but the breakevengain should be some safety margin setting that once the breakeven is met it should set a gain behind it not ahead of it. So if breakeven is met at 15 pips then it should move the SL to 8 pips profit and if if reverses even slightly no problem we at lease took 8 pips or what ever setting we use here.

Maybe I simply do not understand the coding.
Once the code is released I will re code with my coding for a pip lock.
    I can wait.

I admit that I have almost never used the breakeven. Maybe, I have not well coded it. Here is the mq4 version.

Don't hesitate to modify it. I am always interested in the improvement of my template.

    Thank you FUnyoo

You can remove the mq4 version here is you want to . I fully understand presently why you are not releasing the coding yet.

I will redo the piplock coding and forward a copy to you so you can see better how it should work for everyone.
