Yes, with different settings. At least on similar pairs (trending pairs).

    Smile Depth of confirmation

    Hi Funyoo,

I like the indicator GG-RSI-CCI and this EA.

Is there a way that you add one parameter like this :

    ParameterP : 1, open a trade after 1 bar with 1 color
: 2, open a trade after 2 bars with the same color
    : 3, open a trade after 3 bars with the same color...etc

That could allow to have a kind of depth of confirmation of the signal.

Sorry for my english, I am a gibbon , hope I am clear.

    Thanks,

    Regards,

    Gibbon_fute

    Thank you Funyoo.

It has worked one time, sell trade after 3 consecutives red bars , closed after one yellow bar. But after, no trade on the 3 consecutives green bars as you can see on the attached graphic. How do you explain that? Maybe I put a wrong parameter ?

Then, I need to filter this using the RSI like this :

If the RSI has been under 30, no sell trade allowed until it goes over 70.
If the RSI has been over 70, no buy trade allowed until it goes under 30.

I have attached a second graphic to illustrate this filter.

    Thanks!

Thanks Funyoo but it still does not work correctly. I have attached a graph that shows that dispite the RSI is > 30, that expert has not launched any buy trade as it is supposed to (after 3 consecutives green bars).

Sorry , I have examinated the code but I am not enough expert to discover what is wrong.

But I know a very good expert...

Another question, in the code, you pute in comment for the RSIfilter "not conventional", what does that mean? That is is unaccurate to filter with the RSI?

    Thanks,

    Regards...

    Hi gibbon_fute,

    Here is a new version.

By "not conventional", not a basic rsi filter.

If you see the comments saying all long/short and nothing happens, check the journal.

    Ok thanks a lot Funyoo.

How could I proceed to optimize this code? Is there a way to make it profitable ? The equity curve in the backtesting tool is very chaotic...and the most often losing and go directly to zero...

I have two silly questions too :
    - what is a trailing profit? a trailing stop I see...but a trailing profit really I don't see.
    - what is the different between "closeonyellow" and "closeonyellowtf"?

Well I go to sleep...it is fast midnight here in France. Have a nice end of day.

    Gibbon_fute.
