    Thanks
Be sure to have a good tick data (tools > history center > currency > download), otherwise the backtesting will be useless. You need a 90% modelling quality in your statement.

Here is the best settings that I have found for 1k, with the "numbers" version.

    EG M30. On one year.

    Total net profit : 47.81%
    RDD : 29.34%

Thats impossible!!!! Well it got blown but if i were in a real account with that, i'll implore some investment tricks like withdrawing intermittently weekly or at a very good figure to avoid the dooms day.

As for the data, i dont know why it posted n/a bcos i downloaded history data from alpari and tested 2007 to present date unless i did not set something well bcos the green bar was almost filled. I'll try again

No the account has not blew up, there is still more than 100k on it at the end. But of course, the results here are still not possible, no broker will allow such lot sizes (more than 700!). And the DD is far too large.

You have to delete all data, M1, M5, M15, ... and to download again. I have had the same issue.

    Default BackTest

    Hi Funyoo,

I had almost the same result but its quite unbelievable in real terms.

But i still dont have any percentage stated as quality.

What do you advise cos i'm using the same 1 year period .

Could you moderate the lot sizes to the minimum brokers taste?

Yes I found out that there was a lot left and i think its a One Year Test and not a days execution so the account would not get to that figure b4 the broker realize. Thats y i suggested quick withdrawals at allowable figures.

I downloaded my 1M data as a single bulk file from Alpari Data History Bank and used the script converter to convert to 15M 30M and others. if the quality data is not specified then howcome its generating almost the same figures like urs?

Anyway let me suppose the data is corrupted so i'll redownload again

I suggest that you go in the history center, on the wanted currency, you click on delete, then you go on the M1 period, you click on delete, then you click on download, you go on the M5 period, you click on delete, then you click on download, ... you do this up to the monthly period. Finally you shut down Metatrader and you launch it again and it should be ok.

Nice code this "EURGBP 30M RULE BASED MM.mq4". If I am right, I observe that for opening a position there's a condition asking wether the price is under (for buying) or over (for selling) 0.79235 (concrete price level).
How this EA can be used in the future? What price level can we set?
How can this EA be adapted for other pairs like EURUSD? Again, how can we set a price level?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi josep and welcome,

As there is not a lot of information about this EA on the web, you have to find it yourself. You should make some optimization maybe every week, to find what is the best price level for the wanted pairs. And see how it is in the demo comparing to another test with the default set (concerning EG). Note that it is designed for EG, you will have to do deep optimization for something else.
