    Default Good Results ?

    It would be nice if some one has experimented enough with this EA to post the results and the set file.
    Thanks a lot

    Tested version 1.02. While it does improve buy sell error we must find a way to continue to trade based on last good signal. On attached graphic on previous post we can see a valid buy signal on 6 march (minimum for sp500). On the up move from 6 march there will be a series of new signal both buy and sell. While the new signal are invalidated and the new positions closed we must revert to the long position as soon as possible. Basically we would have a series of long/short positions that togheter will form the trend as close as possible.
    I hope that I am clear in my intentions.

    Best Regards Funyoo

    I am testing it right now but its moving slowly due to the indicator. Also I am trying to eliminate a series of false signal. As soon as is in better shape I will post the result.

    Hi Funyoo,

    Although the final signals where for long position it has continue with short position. I know that this is due to new signals but we have to continue with the last good signal. I do not know why it prefers short positions. In a lot of testing it has opened much more short positions than long. Also in real life the signal (resistance/support) appear after only 2-3 bars and not after 7-8 bars.

    Is there a way to check if the signal received by programs are different than what is draw on the graphic?

    Hi Funyoo,

    Can we incorporate directly into ea the code for support/resistance level?

    //+------------------------------------------------------------------+
    //| TDST Support and Resistance lines |
    //+------------------------------------------------------------------+
    for(int j=Bars-counted_bars+10; j>=0; j--)
    {
    //TDST Support
    if(Close[j]<=Close[j+4]&& Close[j+1]>=Close[j+5] && Close[j-1]<=Close[j+3] && Close[j-2]<=Close[j+2] &&
    Close[j-3]<=Close[j+1] && Close[j-4]<=Close[j] && Close[j-5]<=Close[j-1] && Close[j-6]<=Close[j-2] &&
    Close[j-7]<=Close[j-3] && Close[j-8]<=Close[j-4])
    {
    Support[j]=High[j];
    Support[j+1]=EMPTY_VALUE;
    }
    else Support[j]=Support[j+1];
    //TDST Resistance
    if(Close[j]>=Close[j+4]&& Close[j+1]<=Close[j+5] && Close[j-1]>=Close[j+3] && Close[j-2]>=Close[j+2] &&
    Close[j-3]>=Close[j+1] && Close[j-4]>=Close[j] && Close[j-5]>=Close[j-1] && Close[j-6]>=Close[j-2] &&
    Close[j-7]>=Close[j-3] && Close[j-8]>=Close[j-4])
    {
    Resistance[j]=Low[j];
    Resistance[j+1]=EMPTY_VALUE;
    }
    else Resistance[j]=Resistance[j+1];
    }
    //----
    return(0);

    It looks like this is the code from the indicator.
    Please try this as testing with indicator is extremely slow and I can not do any optimization.
    I really hope that this will make the execution much faster without calling the indicator.

    Thanks a lot

    I won to use Tom Demark Indicator on the chart. Kindly tell me what period you are using on your EA of Tom Demark ie. LevDP and qSteps Parameters
