    Default Tom DeMark TD Sequential EA

    Hi Funyoo,

    Please write an ea based on MAB_TD_Sequential.mq4 indicator. It draws resistance and support levels.
    Trading strategy:
    Enter long or short at a fresh support or resistance signal with stop loss manually defined or at the support or resistance level.
    Close the trade at the change of signal or we can use atr_stops for trailing stop.
    This indicator can redraw or erase the fresh signal, that is why we are using a sl at the beginning.
    On a clear trend this indicator can generate a series of support level or resistance level and we can use this to add more positions but at the change of the signal we must close all open positions.
    I really hope that this strategy can generate early enough entry to generate a steady return.
    Thank you very much for your work

    Hi Funyoo,

    Please have a look at Tom DeMark TD Sequential EA when you have any time. It promises better performance.
    In this day on forex I hardly believe that can be made any money consistently with an EA that works with any kind of averages and do not involve large risk. So I am looking on indicators that do not rely on computing averages.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi daxc,

    Here is the EA.

    Note : MAB_TD_Sequential can repaint a lot.

    Hi Funyoo,

    Thanks a lot for EA. Could you make a small modification? When the support or resistance signal disappear, immediately close the position or wait with that position until we can close it on zero. Unfortunately it draws much more false signals that I expected.
    Another variant is to work with buy limit and sell limit at levels near the signal.

    Hi daxc,

    Closewhendisappeared option added. And close only opposite signal on new signal.

    Hi Funyoo,

    Testing is very slowly with this indicator unfortunately. Is there a way to check for last valid signal?
    Parameters:
    comment="EA"; magic=1234; moneymanagement="Money Management"; lots=1; lotsoptimized=true; risk=1; minlot=0.1; maxlot=10; lotdigits=1; ordersmanagement="Order Management"; oppositeclose=true; reversesignals=false; maxtrades=2; tradesperbar=1; autosl=false; hidesl=true; hidetp=true; stoploss=0; takeprofit=0; trailingonatr=false; trailingstart=0; trailingstop=0; trailingstep=0; breakevengain=0; breakeven=0; stoplevel=0; entrylogics="Entry Logics"; closewhendisappeared=true; length=10; atrperiod=5; kv=2.5; shift=1;

    With closewhendisappeared=true it would be nice if we can check if the last valid signal is in the same direction. If it is, then we don't close the position even if the new signal has disappeared.
    I have tested this on daily EPZ (SP500 Futures) as is cleaner than forex.

    With maxtrades=1 has opened 2 simultaneous transactions.

    comment="EA"; magic=1234; moneymanagement="Money Management"; lots=1; lotsoptimized=true; risk=1; minlot=0.1; maxlot=10; lotdigits=1; ordersmanagement="Order Management"; oppositeclose=true; reversesignals=false; maxtrades=1; tradesperbar=1; autosl=false; hidesl=true; hidetp=true; stoploss=0; takeprofit=0; trailingonatr=false; trailingstart=0; trailingstop=0; trailingstep=0; breakevengain=0; breakeven=0; stoplevel=0; entrylogics="Entry Logics"; closewhendisappeared=false; length=10; atrperiod=5; kv=2.5; shift=1;

    If you can fix this, it would be great.

    Thanks again for your work Funyoo
