Funyoo, great EA, thanks for the improvements. I have several versions of this running live, love it. Just lost 121 points on one setting, so brings back my question from before? Will repost the idea of a Neutralizer.

“The Neutralizer”. When a bad trade does go through, and you are left hanging on the slope, why the SL? Why?? Why give up 121 pips so easily? Man, we need to fight to give it up. Why not have the EA place a trade in the other direction with the same lot size, call this trade the neutralizer. The neutralizer will balance the loss in the other direction, so instead of losing 121 pips, your simply stay at -121, with another trade moving in the other direction. The idea of the neutralizer is never to make money, but to keep your negative balance manageable and keep you from busting your account. A neutralizer needs a SL of its own, something small, 3, 5, or 10. The price can bounce up and down around your 121 pip loss line and you are only giving up 3, 5 or 10 each time it kicks in. You need that SL, you do not want it too small or you might sell to fast, then miss it if it moves right past -121. Look at the market, is the price going to move up and down around your neutralizer 10X prior to returning to your original trade and closing out in profit?? I doubt it. You might lose 9, or 12, or 15 pips, but a ton better than just turning over 121.

    Hi hunter6,

    That's a good idea.

Here is a new version. It only works with maxtrades=1 for the moment. I don't know how to elaborate the option with more trades.

Awesome!!!! thanks a ton for this work!. Please post any settings, any, where the hedge seems to be turning on. For whatever reason I can't get it to turn on, but am sure that there is some 'on - off' option I'm messing up. Maybe it would work better attached to your first X1 Macd EA, this one had very few options, but is exactly what you want for the hedge, that is no basket, no buy or limit stops etc..... thanks a again, will keep plugging on it but please post any sets where the hedge turns on. thanks.

    Hi hunter6,

You just need to set hedging to true.

Once you have entered the hedge (basically closing the trade - but using double margin and costing extra spread) how do you exit it? I do not follow the logic.

If the hedge has a small SL of <10 what is the point of it? Just increase your SL by 10 pips. What happens when your hedge trade gets taken out, then falls back down to the original stop level again?

If youre worried about your account blowing on one bad trade, I suggest your lot sizes are too big.

Talking Hedge needs to cancel when order completes

Funyo, I got it, thanks. Step in the right direction for sure. One small issue.

The hedge, or the neutralizer, needs to turn off or cancel with the original order completes. For now, the hedge line seems to stay around until another original order is placed.

Please close neutralizer (or hedge) when the original order, or the 1234 order, completes. This is awesome by the way, one more step and thanks so much for your efforts.

Dude, you are amazing. Thanks. I have this running live, a few different settings and will get sets up. While the neutralizer did not work exactly as I thought, it has really taken my trading in new directions. thanks, will get it up!!!

Please post a set file on which pairs/timeframes you are using if you do get it to work profitably.
    Thanks
