Thread: Center of Gravity Scalper EA

Default Center of Gravity Scalper EA

    Hi Funyoo.

I know that you have previousesly programed a Belkhayate EA before, but the logic for this gravity based system is different.

I've been testing this way of using a Gravity Center indicator very effectively. Very, very high win rate, with a low drawdown (below 4%).

Here's how it works. (See COG picture)

The Nmbr_Bars setting for each pair that I have used, and seem to have the most efficiency with the repaint for each pair is as follows:

    GBP/USD : 244
    EUR/USD: 300
    USD/JPY: 300
    USD/CHF: 262

This would make an unbelievably powerful EA, if we can get the coding right ^_^

Good luck funyoo, looking forward to it

hum...where u gonna put ur stop loss? the price can go pretty violent and rapid sometimes. If anything unexpected...or should I say expected black swan happens, without a stop loss this system will be like making 10 bucks everyday and lose 50k in one hour.

    Hello

I dont mean to say that it shouldn't include a SL, but I am focusing mainly on a dynamic TP, that moves with price action.

Take for example the USD/CHF pair right now moved 45pips in about 8minutes.

I understand the confusion in my previous post. What I mean is for the EA to enter a trade after it retraces a sup/res line. That way it wont open a trade if a line passes both lines.

I hope this clears the confusion

Agentrfr: Sure you can PM me. I will load it in a fresh demo starting Sunday open.

I tried loading the indicator above. Nothing happens - I can't see anything.

I know i'ts not needed to atached the indi ator, but it will be better if any visual feedback is seen.

Default Idea for the Centre of Gravity system

    Hi Funyoo

I have been testing this EA on M1 charts on the eurusd. Because such a small timeframe is volatile, and tends to move quickly, it would be beneficial to add a reverse signal function to it. Then it looks like it could have some definite potential as a short term scalper. I have attached my eurusd backtest on M1 timeframe with default settings.

Can you add this reverse trade option to the code please...

    Best Regards
