    Hi Luther_Blissett,

    Right, martingale option corrected.

Suggestion, instead of martingale, why not something like what you've done with the SIG_CCI EA.

Let this EA stay in trades, or double down with the next open or close comes along. Let the EA take profit based on cumulative percent for a group of same direction trades??

Using that concept with something like a MA EA might be great in that you'd be able to easily transfer the strategy from one pair to another, unlike the SIG_CCI as is.
    Hi hunter6,

    Sigccimmlike option added.

    Hi Funyoo,

I almost never post as I can find what I need somewhere in the tread. I have installed this EA and I would like to monitor it. Do you have a template or the MA settings.

Thanks for all you good work. joet

Funyoo, great work on the version 1.03. No matter how many EAs I work with, I keep coming back to this concept, I love it, Thanks.

Issue, would it be possible to have the EA only open one trade after the cross? Explain; for now I have it on the lowest take settings and trading very conservatively, watching the 2 move up and down over the 50. It gets into trouble with it piles to many trades in one direction during a drop. This is really bad if you are running it on several charts at one time and one of the charts enters a trade prior to the drop. This happened to me last week.

Suggestion: One trade on each cross, no more. Either buy or sell depending on the direction of the cross, but no follow ups until it crosses either back up or back down again. This might allow for larger take on each trade but keep it from going farther into the whole as it fights to catch up. Thoughts?

Thanks again, as I've said now hundreds of times, for the informative and useful site.

Default Collective or ‘Aggregate Take’ ?

Using v1.03 it is showing good results. Question, why not a 'total take'??

At it currently functions, v1.03 (when CCI options are activated) separates the profit or loss totals by direction of the trades. 'Buy' total profit is treated separately from 'Sell' total profit. This works very good but at times it can leave you sweating some pretty big negative positions (see attached), and easily sink your account.

Suggestion, why not change the EA a bit, add a 'Aggregate Take' option which enables the program to combine the two profits? This would balance out negative trades with positive until the CCI TP was met and avoid long term negative positions. As long as 'close on opposite' is turned off by the user, the opposing trades would work to balance each other until profit was met.

Essentially this would be the 'Bracket Trader' strategy we've exchanged an emails about.

have a great weekend, thanks again for the interesting and useful site! Loving it.

Hi Funyoo, I have a challenge for you!

    Funyoo,

I would like you consider to create a function that automatic reverse the current ea strategy, after a condition is met. That condition could be the number of trades opened.

    Let me explain better:
This ea, after of X trades opened, it will stop the current strategy (don´t close any trades though), and activate automatically the reverse function.

Lets say we have 100 trades as maxtrades allowed. After, lets say 50 trades opened, by example, it will stop use the current strategy (normal or reverse, if was that option set in the initials parameters), and activate the reverse strategy: so reverse function if the reverse option was not set as true in the begining, or no reverse function if the reverse option was choose in the initial settings....

Do you think you can make it?

    thank you,

    civ
