The main difference between My Lucky and your Lucky is the use of the fractals envelopes.

Yes, this is the original code that rdb has modified to get the Your Lucky EA. You will find it here : MyLuckyPro V.0.5p

You have to move to another broker that keeps the same spread during all day, like liteforex or masterforex.

Thanks funyoo , but shouldn't he sell when the price is under the MAVG and buy when the price is above ...
That means he is going against the short term trend when the market is flat" ranging"
can you pls try to backtest by correcting the buy and sell to be buy above the MAVG and Sell when below the MAVG and compare it to the original idea

    Thanks

Yes, according to the results, the conditions imposed by the fractals envelope are propitious to small retracements.

Here is what happen when we reverse the moving average conditions :

    EG M5. One one year.

    Total net profit : -42.66%
    RDD : 52.40%

    Comparing to the default settings:

    Total net profit : 25757.73%
    RDD : 52.40%

Note that I have added some options in the code attached. There were some useless parameters (not used in the code), I have rehabilitate them. I will do it with the other parameters to see if it can help.

interesting and in away I was expecting that , it seems that in a flat/ ranging market its better to go against the entry logic

    thanks for the test

hai , i have DL and back test the EA of Your_Lucky_EURGBP_rdb_v1a RSI Following
I only can test in EG TF5 from 14 october till today with ur .set file...
and I try to back test more further back time....

so I DL the data from alpari...
but after I convert the data, why there is no single trade during every time range I select...

    my procedure was
DL the .hsl file from alpari
install new mt4 in different folder from the existing one (I'm not open new acc, because if I open a new acc, I'm affraid the data from the mt4 will be crash with the data from alapri)
then I change the maximum bar n data to be 9999999999
then from tools-->history-->import data from eurgbp1.set (file from alpari)
then restart mt4 and doing back test

and....I got a good modeling for previous month or even previous month,
but there is no single open position with this EA...

can u tell me how to back test this EA in previous month/year with good model.
    thaks

Hi wish me luck and welcome,

You have to download the tick data from Metatrader :

Tools > History center > Currency > Download.
