Can u give me ur email or id Yahoo Messengger. I have one EA to u help me to modified. I hope u can hel me. My Email is email@example.com.
Everytime I do a backtest of Ilan1.4 (with the standard settings), the first trades are little winners and then suddenly, big fall to zero. When I use the Trailing-stop-version, It goes smoothly down to zero. I test with a account of 500 euro and 0.01 lots (the rest standard). I guess this is not the intention of the person who made this EA. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
But still it will be a high-risk EA ? I don't like to come home and see that my money is gone. Maybe optimasation in combination with trailing-stop ?
I still have some other newby-questions ...
- when I use an EA on my demo-account and I log in to my real account, I suppose the EA becomes inactive. When I get back to my demo, some trades are still open. When I reactivate the EA, will he know that he has to handle the (still) open trades or do I have to shut them down manually?
- when I backtest an EA, I often get a bad modelling quality (60% or less). Can I solve this problem or is my computer not fast enough?
If you have still a bad modelling quality :
tools > history center > currency > double click on M1 > download
tools > history center > currency > double click on M5 > download
tools > history center > currency > double click on M15 > download
... up to MN (monthly time frame).
THANKS, it is better now !!!
I see at my backtesting that in the beginning, everyting goes right, I make profits. And then, after like 100 trades, he suddenly keeps them open and at the end of the test, he closes them with huge loss. That's why I always have a crash at the end. Can't I change it so he continue trading like the first 100 trades ?
