    Default MA-Hector EA

We use the MA-Hector logics, we buy/sell if MA1 is over/under MA2 and MA3, if each MA is going up/down, and if current low/high is over/under MA1. This on different timeframes with different parameters for the MA.

    EU M5. Since 2000.

    Total net profit : 578.26%
    RDD : 27.35%

    Hi funyoo.

Are you using here a kind of martingale? I see many open positions in my test.
And also, at least for 2010 it only has sells...

    Hi civfan,

It is a trend following style EA that opens orders as long as there is a signal. There is no martingale.

I am sorry for the basic question, but knowing that MA is moving Average, what is MA1, MA2 and MA3?

    Hi civfan,

    MA1 : first moving average,
    MA2 : second moving average,
    MA3 : third moving average.

Or if you prefer : fast, medium and slow.

And consider the enteropenbar? what is the advantages of using it? That has to do with the backtesting error of the m1 interpolation calculation by mt4, and prevent backtest errors? or has other aim?

    Hi civfan,

It allows you to only work on the first tick of each bar and to use the open prices mode for the optimization. The results will theoretically not differ a lot to the each tick mode results.

    Default tester does not work

Tried EA Hector on 2 brokers to test and after loading EA nothing happened. What could be the reason ? Nothing is written in the Journal indicating an error.
