Thread: 100 pips EA improved

Hi Funyoo.

First let me congratulate you on the wonderful work you are doing in this forum. Please keep up the good work.

I am a great fan of the 100 pips ea and I am really amazed at the improvements you made to the popular EA.

If you don't mind I will be glad if you could build into your improved version the hedging option in the attached 100 pip ea, since hedging helps to reduce the amount of loss. I am not a coder, I only did some cut and paste in the ea.

The hedge is to open an opposite trade base on individual opened ticket(s) when trade(s) goes against me x pips and to also include the possibility of determining the number of maximum open trade per pair and per basket.

Can you please have a look at the second EA (AtTheBest-EA.mq4) and find out why the EA is not opening trade and to correct the problem if any.

the only problem on AtTheBest-EA is the fact it is an primitive Martingale EA. blows your acc away unless u have million dollar trading acc available

Well, really you would not need a SL if the TS was working in the EA.

This thing is awesome, but does not get out of most trades on its own.

It has a TS set, but does not do anything different if the TS is set on 20, 10 or even 5.

I'd like to set this on a 25 TS and let it run, that would be awesome. But without a working TS this thing is kind of nuts.

Hi all....I can get this ea to back test ok, but when I try to forward test it and attach it to a chart, all I get is the alert that it is trading but no trades are made...any ideas anyone?....ps...using 5 digit broker and have tried multiplying the appropriate parameters by 10

I've done some back testing with this and would like to change the lTakeProfit and sTakeProfit, but when I changed it to 4 pips, the stop moved to 4 pips also. I am changing it in the code....am I changing the wrong parameters?

can anyone post the detail about the EA, not jsut the code?
