    Hi Funyoo,

This EA appears to be very good on some pairs. Although it includes a martingale function but I would appreciate if you would add or change it to the one you did for http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/pr...uest%5D-5.html - post #50, as it is coded in PSAR RSI EA v1.06.mq4. Particular details I explained in post #49 of the same thread.

    Coding, please for MT4.

    Thank you for your expertise.

    hi funyoo,

    here's an optimization EU M20

    since 2010. + 2600% RDD 52%

Could you try to implement the same time filter available in mql4 template in the mql5 file

    Hi pabrman,

It is the same basic martingale than the one included in my template.

    Hi logan113,

For the moment, I have not been able to reproduce the time filter in mql5 language.

    Funyoo,

    Thank you for post #13.

The type of martingale in this EA (MartGreg_1.01.mq4) works differently than the one I am requesting. For the benefit of other members allow me to comment on martingale functions in respect to my request (post #11).

The one included in this EA (MartGreg_1.01.mq4), let’s call it “Type A” works as follows:
    1, Trade #1 opens at 1.2000,
2, Reaches SL (say 45) and closes at 1.1930 with a loss of $45 (assuming 1pip=$1),
3, EA waits and later generates a new signal, opens trade #2 in the direction of trade #1 and doubles the position (if “multiplier1” = 2),
4, If it reaches TP (say 12), it will close with 12 pips in profit, which is $24,
if not, trade #2 will suffer $90 loss
The problem is that the loss is much-much greater than the profit. The difference between the loss and profit could be minimized with different values for TP, ST, multiplier1 but these values are not unacceptable for my strategy.

The type of martingale I requested in post #11, let’s call it “Type B” works as follows:
    1, Trade #1 opens at 1.2000,
2, Reaches “pipstep” (say 45) and it does not close it.
3, Opens additional trade, trade #2 of double positions (if “multiplier” = 2).
    … read more description at post #49 - http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/pr...uest%5D-5.html

I have manually checked hundreds of losses generated by several EA-s and 95-98% of them can be “repaired” with martingale Type B.

Last month I have used PSAR RSI EA v1.06.mq4 from http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/pr...uest%5D-5.html and did not have one single “Basket loss”. Personally, I do not believe in Stop Losses, but rather repairing losses with several management tools, one of them being martingale Type B.

I would ask you, to implement this Type B martingale in this EA, MartGreg_1.01.mq4 because I really like it.

Moreover, I have the same request for another EA that I like even more. But I place that request in its respective threat (http://www.tradingsystemforex.com/pr...l-scalper.html).

    Thanxxxxxxx a 1000000000000.

    Hi pabrman,

It is an open martingale :

    Martingale : You can set a closed martingale : martingale=true, maxtrades=1, basketpercent or basketpips=true. Or an open martingale : martingale=true, tradesperbar=100, basketpercent or basketpips=true, addpositions=true.

Thank you, Funyoo for instructions. I'll work on it ASAP.

    Funyoo,

I checked EA (MartGreg_1.01.mq4) and I do not see Variables you refer to in post #15: basketpercent or basketpips=true, addpositions=true.

Please, advise or check the EA coding.

    Thanx.

    Hi pabrman,

You just need to open the code with MetaEditor and to add extern before these parameters.

Thank you for educating. Although I am not a coder by any means, I'll play with it.

Dear Funyoo and all this greath intelligent community members,

It's my first post. First of all, dear Funyoo, please take my biggest RESPECT for all the effort that you work into this mql coding community development.

Coding always was one of my hobbies, and few months ago I found that this hobby I can turn in to some money for ice-cream just by coding expert advisors and hoping it will turn my 1000 dollar in to 1100 and etc.. It’s cool! . For me now it is very interesting new field of discoveries and challenges. So now after few months of trying to code my own EA I am not a beginner in mql coding, but I can’t understand what kind of settings do you use to get such impressive results, (like in your first post) for this particular EA…?

after I set mm = true and Risk 0.85 (like you do) my first trade on 2010.01 is not 0.9 lot size but only 0.2 ...?

Kind of similar results I only get when I set basketpips = true; but still it only doubles the account.. in 2010

I see there is a lot of variables in EA that is not extern… maybe you use some other parameters there..?

Dear Funyoo, Could you be so nice to look over this EA in MT4 version and find what is may be out of set file content, and default EA settings…?
