Default This is a great EA

This is a great EA, capable of multiplying monthly the equity several times in almost any pair and any time frame. 3 moving averages are not enough, 5 are ok, but this EA has 6.

But tested in a VPS, live trading in demo account, it lacks 2 features:
    1. A magic number. When closing its trades, it also closes the other EA trades.
    2. A trailing stop, a must in real trading.

Attached what I believe is the latest EA version, the settings, and a report.

Would be great if Mr. Administrator could somehow provide these 2 important features. The EA will then be of tremendous real potential.

    Many thanks

Ugh, another Martingale.. You're only a small losing streak away from going debit. Martingales could be used in conjunction with another system but never as a base system.

    Nevertheless, I'll check it out.

    Thank you.

    Hi all:

First, thank you funyoo; great, quick response. I will test it and post results. Then, bigpipn; I never used the Martingale feature. The fact is that I think this is the latest version, in which somobody added it. Like you, don´t like Martigale EA´s as they trend to provide a nice lineal equity curve, but them..... blow your account.

Then, stace; yes, it worked right on. Don´t know why there is a problem on your side; I compiled it and "cero errors".

Anyway, I like the moving averages mechanics, and will love to have a MA EA working on real account.

    Thank you all.

    Question Ea Already Tested

Hello again to funyoo: already tested the EA. Worked, but made a zig zag equity curve.

At first I tought the problem had something to do with the Martingale feature; then, I copied your Magic number and trailing stop code in the original EA (before the Martigale feature), and the same zig zag curve reproduced.

The ArrayInitialize function internal error quoted by stace appeared in the journal, and an OrderSend error 134.

I am just beggining in the MQL programming. I have some skills in VBA, HTML and PHP. But, I have no idea of what the problem might be in this particular case.

I attach the original EA (the one prior to the Martingale inclusion), and the TEST EA in which I copied your code. And thank you very much Mr. Administrator for you help and interest.

    Yesterday, it worked fine.

As one of the members said at the beginning of the thread, the EA does something with the historical data, like "cheating".

That's why, I've got nice curves in backtesting (the most pretty curves that I have seen) but nothing similar in forward test.

    Smile Stat Eucledian Metric

Diamantinense post on 01-06-2009 states the cheating possibility; but StatsBars gives an explanation on 01-07-2009.

I have forward tested the Eucledian EA, benchmarking it with Universal Moving Averages (3MA) and its upgraded versión UMA MACD RSI. Eucledian opens trades with more accuracy. The problem is the absence of a trailing stop.

In backtests, EA shows far more profit and less DD.

Thank you funyoo for your help and interest.
