    Default WilliamsTrader EA

Hi I was hoping someone could take a look at this code. This EA performs brilliantly for ages and then takes a hit all the way to the SL. I have tried to code in an algorithm so that when a certain setup works against it it stops out before the SL is hit. But it doesn't 'read' the code.

It works really well in forward testing and I can manually close out a bad trade but I would rather have the peace of mind of the code as well.

It works best on EU 5 mins but in forward testing is also performing very well against the other majors.

    Thanks in advance

Yep that was the first I made sure I had, no change. Funny thing GBPUSD works though if I put an extra 0 to sl tp, and change the shift to 0 and ecn to false. Strange!

Hi Netra, this is strange. Did you use the set file? It backtests fine for me BUT I use an ECN broker.

    Cheers

I think that is the problem, I am not on ECN. Maybe the ECN option has to be fixed too! Thanks

The ECN code is Funyoos. Perhaps if you switch MM to Off and ECN to OFF. If you are not on a 5 digit broker then change lotdigits from 2 to 1. Then try again once it is set for your broker.
