    Default New version of EA

    Hi Funyoo,
I just found this thread and was trying out the EA on like the first page.
And i'm quite impressed with the results.
Later after reading through i believe you created another version i think 1.1 because someone asked for some hedging functions.
In your opinion, between these two, which would you recommend.
I plan to run this ea in a demo account from monday onwards.
Would like to see how well it does.
    Please advice.
    Thanks A Lot.

    Hi hymera,

I don't know as I have only tested the first.

I suggest you to test both in demo.

    Hi Funyoo,
I've tested both as you said and it seems like v1.1 gives profits lesser than your original version.
However when i ran the Parabolic(hedge) with the v1.1 set file, i am unable to get the kind of results you received. Mine is like 10 times less. Attached is my results please advice where did i go wrong?
I'm using Interbank FX, could that be the problem. I've read that there are some issues with server time and stuff, which i don't understand. I'm residing in Singapore.
    Thanks a lot.

Have you adjusted the time as IBFX is GMT and my broker is GMT+2 ?

    Hi Funyoo,
I'm really sorry to be a bother, but i think i've done the adjustment you mentioned. Previously in the 1.1 set file the starttime=2 and stoptime=19 so like you mentioned IBFX is at GMT; so i changed it to starttime=0 and stoptime=17.
But however, i still wasn't able to achieve your results.
I'm really sorry for continuously pounding you with questions.
    Really appreciate your help.
Have learnt quite a bit so far.
    Thank You.

    Hi hymera,

The problem comes also from the tick data that is different for each broker.

You have to optimize the EA yourself. It will not be difficult as the backtesting is done quite fast with this code.

    Hi Funyoo,
Hmm... if that's the case, then i shall use FXDD as i can make 10k into a whopping 200k..... i'll download and try it out..
So if i do this i believe i would be able to achieve your results.
    I really hope so...
    Thanks.

    Hi Funyoo,
I've tried with your MT4-Masterforex and this is my results. It seems to be not anywhere near your results.
Anyway, i guess i've given up trying to obtain your results. I guess i've got a long way to go before i understand the 'workings' of MQL
Thanks for your help so far.

Sorry I know this has been covered but I'm a bit confused on the market start and stop time here in Salt Lake City Utah? Mountain Time. Perhaps the daylight savings is messing me up. Ive been testing this program since Thursday, and not one trade has opened... Ive tried ALOT of different times.

Im using FXDD, I believe its gmt +2 now, +3 daylight savings when spring hits.
    FXDD hours are 4pm - 3pm, 5pm - 4pm daylight savings.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
