Sorry for sounding completely new here, but what exactly is a Sell or Buy Limit?
It is all I've gotten so far in the forward tests. And I see it on several other peoples statements as well.

Default You could just keep MM on

This resulted in a 3.92 lot trade on a $3000 mini account.
Seems to be an extreme high risk setting.
Have now turned off MM and set lots to .1 for more testing

Thanks for all you do funyoo
You really don't need to turn off MM. You could just reduce your risk to something below 2 and see where your lot opens and adjust from there. Just being thoughtful. Just started reading post and thought I'd respond. Hopefully not out of line. Sincerely, Kevin

Default Best optimized settings for 1k size account

    Hi Funyoo,

Pls could you help me with the best optimized settings for a 1000 and below account.

I tried the first set file for a 1000 and had these error:

    2009.01.24 15:55:14 2009.01.09 02:15 FT_Scalp Parabolic MM (Magic) EURUSD,M15: ScalpParabolicPattern()- Ошибка установки отложенных ордеров OP_SELLLIMIT. op 1.36930000 sl 1.38090000 tp 1.36660000 4051

    2009.01.24 15:55:14 2009.01.09 02:15 FT_Scalp Parabolic MM (Magic) EURUSD,M15: OrderSend error 4051

2009.01.24 15:55:14 2009.01.09 02:15 FT_Scalp Parabolic MM (Magic) EURUSD,M15: invalid lots amount for OrderSend function

But when i tried the same set file for a 10,000 account it worked fine.

    Pls kindly help

    Thanks

    Hi Onyebuchim,

You have to divide the MM by 10.

    Wannaberich (and so do I...)
Its not possible to replicate the results you publish. The reason is, I think, the start- and stop time settings: I live in Belgium, and i am on CET(Central European Time). Could you check the difference between the servertime of your broker and GreenwichMeanTime? It goes as follows: go to GMT: Greenwich Mean Time - World Time / Time in every Time Zone and note the GMT.
Open your Metatrader, hit ctrl+M and read the time displyed in the "Market Watch" title bar. And please put these 2 times in your reply. It would be much appreciated.
    Best regards,
    Ludo

    Hi people,
I hate to bring this up again, but this issue of start/close time has yet to be settled. Perhaps it would help to state what the best time to start/close is using GMT. Then, according to our brokers, we can calculate what times to use.
    Thanks.

    Doug
