    Hi Funyoo
I be new to your forum.
I noticed that your .SET file is different than your settings on your Strategy Tester results (.htm file). Which ones should be used?

Also, should the indicators used in this RSI PowerMax EA be displayed on the chart or are they internally calculated?
    thanks
    jimbo

    Hi Funyoo,
    Me again
Can you explain what the following mean?
Shift (ie. you call for Shift1=3, what does mean?)
    Risk MM=true verses Risk MM=false?
Slippage=3 (on a 5 digit system, should that be 30?)
And finally, what is the Magic number?
    thanks again.

    Hi jimbo002,

    Welcome!

I don't see the difference between the set file and the tester results set. Of course you should test the tester results one, if there is really a difference.

The indicators are common indicators. You just need to drag the EA on the chart.

It is used to compare the opening of a bar to the previous bar one for example. If Shift1=3 and Shift2=2, we compare the opening of the third bar to the second one. If it is higher, buy signal is confirmed. If it is lower, sell signal is confirmed. That's what I call a price action filter.

If false, lots = manual lots, else lots = a percentage of the account free margin.

    That's correct.

If you want to test the EA on the same pair but with different settings, then you have to enter a different magic number for each chart. Otherwise, you will get a ton of conflicts, generating errors, bad exits, etc...

No, you can drag only one EA on a chart.

    Hi csino,

Depending on the period, there can be long series of buy or sell.

    Indeed, that's strange.

You have maybe set the EA on "Short Only" in the tester ?
