Thread: Trend Alexcud +JoGet+ EA

Here is the expert advisor based on the system of mike1982. Note that you can enable/disable the Trend Alexcud and the +JoGet+, if wanted.

The default rules :

Buy :

Trend Alexcud : when at least two of the three time frame's blue results (displayed on the indicator's window) are over or equal to 100% and the third is over or equal to 75%.
+JoGet+ : when there is the text BUY over the indicator

Buy Exit :

Trend Alexcud : when at least one of the three time frame's blue results is under or equal to 50%. At this moment, the text "Not recommended to open position. WAIT." appears on the indicator.

Sell :

Trend Alexcud : when at least two of the three time frame's red results (displayed on the indicator's window) are over or equal to 100% and the third is over or equal to 75%.
+JoGet+ : when there is the text SELL over the indicator

Sell Exit :

Trend Alexcud : when at least one of the three time frame's red results is under or equal to 50%.

Let's find the best settings. According to what I have seen, it should be better if we use a take profit and a stop loss instead of the exit on "wait" to close the trade, as the "wait" can appear only few seconds after the conditions to buy/sell. You can still change the settings for the wait. Also, the results will be maybe better if you disable the UseAtLeast2SignalROvVal option, if you leave 100 for the "MinSignalResult" inputs, and if you choose bigger time frames for the Trend Alexcud.

The expert advisor can't be backtested. You will have to try it in demo with different settings. You don't need the indicators to make it work.

look at my chart this is very nice situation but EA didnt open position in this situation,i didnt change the defult setting of the EA,where is the problem?
also i synthesize GMACD indic with this system and i got better result, when all condition sutable for buying then if GMACD give up trend signal in small trend (M1,M5) like below chart then the EA should open buy position.if it gave sideway signal the EA wont open buy position .it is very good filtering.

Read the rules. With the default settings you need to have at least two results with 100% and the last one needs to reach at least 75% (I have created this option otherwise there is a conflict with the "wait" exit rule).

To get a trade in your first screenshot, you should modify the "TheThirdValueMustBeAtLeast". You have to put 62 as value instead of 75.

This the GMACD Signals indicator made by Muhammad Hamizi Jaminan.

According to what mike1982 has written :

Buy confirmed when GMACD give up trend signal in small trend (M1,M5),
Sell confirmed when GMACD give down trend signal in small trend (M1,M5).

I will try to add it and I will add the other TF (M15-M30-H1-H4 and D1-W1-MN) in options.

Quick question about what the 2 sets of % mean...What does the results % in BLUE mean versus the bold RED set of %?

The reason I ask is because the % next to result% was all 3 showing 100% + Good moment to open a SELL + joGET was a SELL. And, it looked like a VERY GOOD SELL setup/entry that was missed (because the ea triggers off of the result % instead).

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the 2 sets of %? TIA!
