Default Forward tests of Top Expert Advisors

    Hi Funyoo

I have a small suggestion to make and I think its a good idea. We all know that although a back test can give us a good indication of the reliability of an EA, there is nothing like a forward test. Why not forward test some of the EAs from here What is the best expert advisor ? and then we can see which ones are actually the best EAs.

I am sure we will be surprised by the results.

    Just a suggestion.

    Hi Viv108,

That's exactly what I'm doing since the creation of the board.

Look the top, there is two colors for the ratio :

One in green for the backtesting results.

One in blue for forward testing results.

I have 3 VPS currently. It costs only 18$ per month and you can have about 19 metatrader platforms on one VPS.

I invit everybody to do the same and to share their detailed demo statements, because as you say forward testing will always be the best way to know the potential of a code.

    funyoo,

If you had to pick one EA to trade...with your experience which one "fits you"...just curious.

You see each person has what they like and do not like...ok we all like profit yes....but I like profit without heavy drawdown...ohh that roller coaster ride is scarey!

but anyways....what I like someone else may not like and so on...what tickles your fancy funyoo?

    Hi ElectricSavant,

As you know, I don't recommend any EA.

For the moment, I like the codes that work on several pairs and on high timeframes (H4), like the Three moving averages EA and the Ten Stochs Wave EA. There is less bad signals on such timeframes. I think that these EA can generate regular profits months after months. Of course, sometimes there can be some DD, and the results are slow, very slow, we need to be patient.

If there are more participants to this "top", we should have a better idea this year of what kind of system works fine and survive to the time.

Do you manage money for free...or do you charge a fee? Are you using funyoo and his forum to bring people to your site? You have made five posts to this Forum...all of them solicitations....if you do not have any contributions to make...I suggest you stop posting....
