Thread: Managing Trade Settings

Hello,

I would like to open a thread discussing and managing trades
with the following Trade Settings/Fields.

TrailingStart
TrailingStop
TrailingStep
BreakEvenGain
BreakEven


I feel they could be very beneficial but probably under utilized as there
is little discussion on how to utilize them correctly and how they are used
in conjunction with the TakeProfit and StopLoss setting.

- What does each of these settings really do and mean?
- How does it affect the trade?
- How are these settings/fields used correctly and in conjunction with each other?
- Examples on entering different settings in these fields.
- What have people experienced?

Hi,

Does anybody know how to enable a dynamic trailing stop ,it seems to only initiate a fixed price,
rather than it being variable and moving with the price.

I also found the following in the EA settings, Is anybody familiar with these?

breakevengain
stop
trailing
(ThE stop and trialing here are in addition to the above trailingstart and trailingstop settings in some of Funyoo's EA's)

I do think that getting a good grasp, description and understanding of the following Order management settings
and how to use these settings in conjunction with each other will be beneficial for many in managing trades.

(I included the basic stoploss and takeprofit above because it is how these settings can be used together and cohesively and their impact on each other for good trading.)
