I am running:
RSIMA scalper 6 pairs 1 month
Scalping & Breakout EU 2 months
TereshSuperMegaWinner Like EU 2 weeks
Patern MACD EU still optimising about to add
MSM Scalper EU & GU 2 weeks
MAWPR EU & GU still optimising about to add
they are all running at very small risk.
These havent been running very long. Reason is that I totally ditched everything i was running previously when i started doing optimisations with dukascopy data.
They are sort of forward tests with real money at low risk.
I am running them all on the same account. hoping they will average out to be profitable.

ok, i will post the set files in the ea sections.
This might help make optimising a bit easier? or not?
read this about 10 times until it is a bit clearer.(it took me a while to understand)

basicly what you need to do is
1 open an account with dukascopy.
2 open jforex platform.
3 on the tester part, select the period and symbol and click on 'get tick data' (dont go overboard on the size to start with. it takes a long time to downlad.)
4 then click 'save tick data' (the data is saved on your computer)
on the above link( birts page) there is a download with some scripts.
you need the jforextofxt script and the birt's patch scripts. install/ compile these scripts on mt4
5 put the dukascopy file you just saved into your folder C:\Program Files\Go Trader MT4\experts\files
6 rename the file to the symbol, such as EURUSD
7 open a chart with mt4 with the same symbol eg EURUSD
8 put the chart on the time frame you want to convert eg 5min
9 execute the jforextofxt script.
10 in the properties click CreateHst to TRUE (only do this the first time you run a symbol)
11 when finished open your files folder again and there will be some hst files for each timeframe. copy these files to C:\Program Files\Go Trader MT4\history\GoMarkets-Demo , or where ever your hst files are located. replace the existing files.
12 go back to your files folder and copy the fxt file you created eg EURUSD5_0.fxt paste this file into C:\Program Files\Go Trader MT4\tester\history
13 restart mt4
14 **important, i always forget this step.. run the birt's patch script.
15 do an optimisation on eurusd5min and it should be 99%
once you have done it successfully once it gets a bit easier. make sure you do it on a demo, not your main trading account (reinstall a new copy of mt4 in a different location)
the time settings for dukascopy data is gmt =0. so always optimise with gmt0, then set your time offsets when you put it onto a demo or real account.
Risk Strategies
May i also can inquire about peoples risk strategies?
Especially if you are trading with large sums of $.
I feel it is too risky to trade a large amount of $ in one account, so i split it into smaller accounts.
Do you trade 1 ea per account or multiple ea's?
What risk setting do you use? Do you take more risks on a smaller account then a large account?
Do you trade the same ea's on different accounts with different risks?
What gain do you hope to achieve?
