    Mr.Funnyo

as i looked at the code, i saw that you wrote this in ea
    "double GU=iCustom(Symbol(),GartleyTimeFrame,"Gartley v102",2,1);....."

but in the indi there is not GartleyTimeFrame,

    so, is it importance ?

    Hi przem81621,

It is the timeframe on which you want to apply the indicator.

A few winning trades happening now, but the v101 EA seems to hate the GBPCHF. Nothing but losses on that pair for some reason.

I can't seem to get this EA to make a profit. Can the people who have posted good results please put their set files up here so we can see where we are going wrong? People have said they'll post them but nobody has yet.

I am trying with two brokers FXPro (see attached pic) and Alpari UK which has made one trade overnight and currently it's losing 38 pips. Both brokers have 10 pairs open 1 hour timeframe.

I love how this EA works and many thanks to Funyoo and BigPipn for coming up with the idea.. We just need to know how to work it now..

    cheers

    Smile Am learning

The EA hasn't taken any trades on my charts yet, but i just discovered that waiting for the EA to take a trade has made me pay much attention to the Gartley formations.

I am finding it interesting and simple. Maybe i'll just go ahead and start taking manual trades pending when this lovely ea is perfected.

I can't thank everybody here enough for the opportunity to learn a simple, effective and interesting trading system.

Big ups for Bigp... More pips to ur cart!

    hello mr.Russ-Trader,
I use only original v101 from here funyoo thread.
I use the pairs what they see in the image.
    I trade the weekly trend.
I start sunday GMT 23 clock
I close myself from noon on friday or if the trend agrees clock before 21 GMT
there is always a trend for weeks!
Please start the chart analysis, always with the weekly chart, and then D1, H4, H1
The big trend is stronger than the little note in H1, therefore they do not reset.
but they can if they are the number 9 or 13 in H4 chart obtained always take the win.
However, if they start off the week of any new trades!
    they start on sunday resist!
they should be on wednesday or thursday to see the trend turning profits and no longer carry trade!
    I hope I could help.
Please test the system with a demo account.
    I take no responsibility!
    best regards

WOW - did everyone just see the 2000 pip surge on GBPUSD and EURUSD just now? - According to Forex Factory there was no news of that impact this afternoon.. Have the Russians declared war?

Glad I wasn't stuck holding a position when that happened!

    Default Demo Account blown

    Hi guys,

although this EA has surely great potential, it also has a nice potential to blow an account ;-)

This morning a 5000-Euro account has been wiped out by Gartley. As I said before, I used version 101 and 102 on TFs from M30 to H4.....and it was actually the M30 who caused the losses...

2 days ago Gartley 101 closed out all positions on EUR/CHF M30 with a loss of over 1000 Euros and turned into buying postions.
The other huge loosers were on USD/CAD M30.....

So now I will start it all over again but with either a TP or TS in place because all the loosing positions were once in profit!

Therefore Vienna is certainly right with using higher TFs because the overall trend is not seen in smaller TFs and therefore Gartley could/will cause false entries..

I will also try out versions 103 and 104, first with settings out of the box - no changes.

    Greetings,

    4rexlady
