Are you a forex trader or just a disgruntled criticus who want to spit bile somewhere?
To my knowledge, there are plenty of other forums where you can complain about everything and everyone, you know...
So please, leave this forum free for serious talks.

    Thanks,

This is why my indicators shows more acurate than on normal timeframe charts.
Have a look at the attached charts.
Notice that i only trade pure manually ! No use of any EA at all...
But...maybe with these Renko charts, EA's would act better, no ?

Another option instead of Momo count is:

Hi Viennatrader, are you still using this EA ? I've been experimenting with it and had some good results. (V101). It could really do with an option to set Max Trades
just to slow it down a little on the smaller time frames. Otherwise though could be a little goldmine. Thanks for a good EA Funyoo !! If you are still reading this could
you add this option on Version 101 ?
Oh and Bigpin, you are definitely the man ! You are right the indi's and info in this thread (and I have read it all) are really all you need. I really think this may turn my trading fortunes around. There is something to be said for keeping things simple. :0)

    Thanks

Default a great find in this thread

    Hi everyone,
I stumbled on this thread goggling Gartley. A great find! I've gone throught the thread. I was already using the Gartley with TD Sequential. The BB MACD is a great addition. I'm hoping this thread sticks around for a while.

Since the Gartley is fib based, I'm wondering if anyone has done any work around after the trade has been triggered projecting the likely target (TP) fib levels based on the fib levels in the Gartley.

    Default New to the Site...

I've been experimenting with gartley patterns for a couple of months now with promising results. Looking for a way to automate the trades based on the patterns. Looking through the thread, it looks like you guys have been toying around with the same idea for about a year!
Excited about the fact that most of the ground work has all ready been done, I downloaded v 102 and have been running it for one week on a demo system. The results are staggering. Perhaps I am missing something... Right now I am up about 1500 pips. And that is just since tuesday. Should I be expecting a huge dip soon?
I noticed there has not been much activity on this thread lately. Is that because people gave up on the system? Or is everyone just getting rich and is too busy making money to post comments?
I have made no adjustments to the inputs. I am running the ea on 18 charts: M15 and H1 on the EURUSD, USDCHF, USDJPY, USDCAD, AUDUSD, EURJPY, GBPUSD, NZDUSD, and GBPJPY.
Not sure if this helps anybody, but those are my settings.

I would agree if it was a live account. However, the point of a demo account trading an EA, if fully automated for entry and exit, is to test under all market conditions. Otherwise what is the point of testing?

Couple hundred more points today Mike. I'd like to test it for at least a month on demo to get a feel for the swings it is likely to take. Still optimistic.
I don't plan on messing with the inputs or code at all if it continues to perform. (If it aint broke, don't fix it) But, I am considering a different/simpler exit strategy. Perhaps a hard stop 10% outside the PRZ (red box). With a scaled target at the B point. (Where the two triangles meet)
    What are your thoughts?
