basically this thread was performing a submited test result only..

Now..i don't understand why this EA dip on my BT so please does any1 had a manual
for this kind of trading system??

I have read the entire threat and found this to be a most interesting and informative read. I am curious about the different versions of the indicators and the Gartley EA. Also, I thought I would write a quick sumary for new readers and old contributors to make sure I have my facts straight.

First, Which of the following versions of the EA is the most stable and reliable.

GartleyEA v100 original was a non-starter and never released.

GartleyEA v101 (post #81) first released version of the Gartley EA. Unfortunatley was unable to close orders once opened so EA had issues.

Gartley EA v101+%close (post #112) re-release of v101 with closing problems corrected but uncustomizable.

GartleyEA v102 (post #181) had too many modifications to version 101 to mention but still needed work acording to developer. In other words complete but not complete if you get my drift.

GartleyEA v103 (post #283) Here is the new version of Gartley EA.- BB MACD for entry and exit added, - High, medium and low risk available, - Previous bar high/low stop loss added,- News Filter added.- X minutes before and after option available but the newfeed section created problems and would crash.

GartleyEA v103 BB MACD (post #301) nonews to correct newsfeed issues.

GartleyEA v104 (post #324) - TradeOncePerSignal option added. but many complained it is not executing orders.

Gartley EA v104 ma(cci)filter (post #253) was released to add functinality and correct setting issues with cci.

GartleyEA v105 (post #360) was created News filter partially fixed (no new orders was generated but the opened orders was not closed before the news). It requires more tests. It seems that the minutes are in fact seconds. And the MinsAfterNews option doesn't work. but the EA seems does not execute orders and does not work properly according to all the posts on the thread.

Gartley EA v106??? will there be a final version to correct all the problem of the previous versions? If not....what is the most stable and recient version that seems to work?


Secondly, I see from all my reading that it is IMPORTANT not to use the EA in any timeframe under 30 min because of repainting and unreliability issues. If so, I think it important to mention. Also, make sure you check all the setting and print out the readme files made by the developers to make sure you understand the settings and set them accordingly to your preference.

I hope this is the most complete listing of the versions for all readers of this thread.

Hi guys, I am not seeing any pattern or are any trades being triggered on any of my mt4 accounts. I have clicked allow dll imports and allow trading, I loaded the code no:3 with bb and no news, I also tried several others. Backtest does not work either. Any idea please?? Thanks guys
