    Smile Cci Trader

    Hai guys,

    I'm just starting a new thread for this EA because i belive this EA had potential to be profitable.It seems that the person who give the idea have no longer interested in upgrading this EA.So eventually i will continue what he has left.

    COMODITY CHANNEL INDEX TRADER EA

    In this EA default setting is:-

    CCI=50
    Initial Level=0
    Open buy level=40
    Alert close buy level=100
    Close buy level=40
    Open sell level=-40
    Alert close sell level=-100
    Close sell level=-40

    I've found that if uses this Custom Indicator CCI_CROSS_NEW mq4 it will produces many valid entry and profit,if the Take Profit just around 10-20
    depends on the pair actually.

    This Custom indicator uses 3 parameters;
    FastCCI=25
    SlowCCI=50
    VerySlowCCI=50

    I've tried to change the settings from CCI=50 to CCI=25,still it couldn't catches the signal that the Custom Inducator shows.Maybe its because the other 2 parameters SlowCCI=50 and VerySlowCCI=50.

    I dont know how to insert the other 2,thats why i need Funyoo help to just look into this Custom Indicator and try to insert it to this EA.

    I hope funyoo are willing to help for the benefit of all who uses it if it can produces stable profit on a live account.

    So here are the Custom Indicator:-

    Hi Ameriz,

    Exceptionally here it is.

    You will get better results if you reverse the system (according to the backtesting).

    The EA doesn't need the indicator in order to work.

    You going to backtest this Ameriz? Let me know what pair and TF b/c I was planning on running some #s on it too.

    Hai BigP,

    I was thinking on running the (#) on G/J.I'm still reading the doc that you posted.
    It's a very useful and I would recommend it to all members to downloaded it and use it to do backtesting on any EA.

    GREAT JOB BIG'P for what you had contribute for the benefit of all members.

    G/J
    TF=30

    Going to continue reading the DOCUMENT.

    Thumbs up

    Hai funyoo

    Today the EA doing fine.It open 5 winners trade of around 10-15 pips.

    Pairs:- G/U,U/J and E/U and another 4 trade the trade didnt trigger not because of the EA but because of the server problem.

    G/J 2 trade:- Requote and another trade context busy if else it should be winners.

    G/U 2 trade:- Requote and trade context busy,it would be winners too.

    All together it should open 9 trade if server doesnt dismiss the other 4.

    For now I'm happy with EA progress and I'm testing it on demo account,I'll test it for at least one month before going live with it.I use it with the C/Indi so that I would still open trade manually beside the EA.I belive this EA would do just fine in assisting me with my trade.

    I only have one question for you it seems that the EA open trade the next bar after the C/Indi signal bar.It didnt open on the same bar.

    Funyoo,what should I change so that it will open on the same Bar.
    Should it be the Shift=1 change it to (0 or -1).

    Other than that its okay and I didnt use the reverse system yet just want to see how it goes with the normal setting first.

    I'll keep posting on the result and wish me luck with this EA.

    Thumbs up Consistency for now

    Hi guys,

    Today 4 more winners trade on G/U and E/U.

    EA open 1 sell and 2 buy trade G/U with 0.2,today I adjusted the lot to 0.2 and TP=14 pips.Manually I open 1 short and 1 long position.I close the 2orders manually with 35 pips on 0.2 lots each.

    For E/U EA only open 1 sell with TP=12 pips 0.2 lots also.

    On the moment I'm writing this U/J probably open long position.

    Till now 4 winners and hope for the best.
