So, for what is the statement? Just to show off ?

READ THE POSTS!!!! THIS IS A TRIAL EA WHICH I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT. I DO NOT HAVE ENTRY AND EXITS, PARAMETERS, ETC. I AM SIMPLY POSTING WHAT THE EA IS GENERATING SO THAT YOU CAN PERHAPS BENEFIT FROM IT SOMEHOW. I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAT TO TRY AND SHOW OFF WITH AN EA ON A DEMO ACCOUNT. IF IT WAS FOR REAL...THAT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT STORY.

Since this EA is trading spreads of 1 and 2 pips. Why not create an EA trading the eurusd using the similar strategy.

At least that pair has a very low spread usually 1 or 2 pips. Most brokers out there if not all have the eurusd consistantly trading with those very low spreads.

    hi,

i am trying, with an order copier , to copy the pos made by ea to another broker (mbtrading in this case). But mine won't work because in Sigma forex all
pairs are finished with a "s" (EURUSDs) and mb are normal (EURUSD).

would someone here know a order copier that would override this failure? Or would someone have a look to the one i am using to correct it?

    thanks

Exactly! That is how I believe this should be approached. In order to know if a SIMILAR system would work with wider spreads, first of all it becomes necessary to create an EA based on the "apparent" methodology behind it. In order to do so, I think that a coder should download the platform and watch what the test EA does. The spread does fluctuate althought it is very tight always. The EA has a built in trailing stop with a minimum TP of 2 pips. During breakouts, it places the buy and sell limits at the extreme ends of the breakout range. Then the range adjusts and narrows during periods of less volatility. Now, take all that and other details which a trained eye can spot, and an EA can be written. I am not the one to do it as I am not a coder. I am only tying to provide enough data here so that others can benefit from it and make their job easier.

I better not say how much the demo account is up to now because I might be accused of showing off again...

    Regards,

    GF

    Hi

Anyone know what the "s" represents? Would it have anything to do with the name of the platform beginning with "S"?

    Thanks....

Mine is still going strong. It is up to $270K and was opened on 5/12 at 01.35 (broker time).

Wasn't somebody working on a possible EA here?

with the account shut down, there is no way to follow this further, right? And are we sure that the EA that was pointed to for sale for 500 USD is actually what we've been seeing the results of?

OK. Let's say this EA was using TRO's Drain the Banks strategy, can someone who is profitable using this strategy explain it to me IN THEIR WORDS? I do not want to see TRO's words, for I have seen them enough and they don't answer pertinent questions I have if I am going to trade the DTB strategy.

Question1: TRO says to take the reversal if a new resistance or support dot is made. well, a new red dot and blue dot are made every bar. The location of the red dot vs. the last red dot is important. is it the same price level as the last red dot or different? do we take reversals if it is different or only if it is the same level as last red dot? same goes for blue dots.

Question2: How do you determine stop loss to use? I do not accept what TRO says. I NEED THE STOP LOSS TO DETERMINE HOW MANY LOTS TO TRADE (needed for my money management/position size equation I created).

If I can get some simple questions answered (and a detailed step-by-step for how a successful DTB trader does the trades from start to finish would be even better), I wouldn't mind working on an EA for it. I have one almost done anyways, except I am obviously not understanding the directions correctly.

See, my problem is selling reversals as price goes up against me on breakout bars (may not be breakout bars when I sell, but later becomes one). I am told to sell multiple times. The question is: when to quit selling reversals on upward breakouts, and actually know it's a trend so I should buy it. I built the EA to comment to screen, and it goes back and forth from reversals to breakout to reversals quickly at times, making me get in and out of trades too many times, selling when I should be buying, and buying when I should be selling.
