I recently heard that in live accounts the brokers are not running with 5 digits....I think they said something about slowly bringing in 5 digit live trading but can't remember the reason why.

I have been testing a setting from Karl Dittman for v. 5_6_03....Thanks for the 5 digit version, I will download it when the market opens...I need ECN too! Because I switched to Oanda (MT4 Beta) and now I need ECN.

    Can anybody add ECN?

Or can someone post the code and tell me exaggley where to paste it in at? Remember i am not the sharpest nail in the shed so you must walk me through this.

    Thanks in Advance,

    ES

P.S. Below the setup for the non 5-digit version. Its the same except the newer version has the FractionalPips field whis is set to true for 5-digit dealers. I run it on GBPUSD 15M

Default Made Phoenix EA v5 6 03 again usable

    The Free Phoenix EA

I improved the old Phoenix EA
Now it is ready to use on 5 or 4 digit broker
    ECN accounts
and gives no error when modify order
The only thing I haven't done is change the original pref settings of the five currencies
It is for me possible to make more pref Settings in this EA
If you test the EA now you will see , that this has to be done.
I read there was in the past here on the forum a lot of activity about trading with this EA
If I get new settings for the currencies and the topic about Phoenix trading comes back in use
then I will help to improve this EA .

Sorry, everyone I found some errors in the modified version
But you can now download a version without those errors
Still the preffered settings had to be renewed.

    What I did more is...

In Signal 5 you can place timesettings
to make the preffered settings in the future for everyone equal,
I made it possible to set this on GMT timesetting.
The EA can now automatic detect if your account is micro or not..
Have put in a preffered setting for EURUSD

    Attached the new version myself

    Not yet, I'm searching
PC a little to slow, to get new settings quick...

I think you need to check the settings once in a period. (maybe two weeks) I search in Phoenix Mode 1.
If you looking for new settings then it is best to search for the last 3 months a optimal setting with low Maximal DrawDown. The idea behind this is if it's good for the last 3 months it has a good chance to be good next period. I'm trieing now finding a good setting for GBPUSD.
