Thread: Vol spread

  1. #1

    Default Vol spread

Hi there Funyoo, another goodie I use to trade live, thought I'd see if you can automate it

both indicators are needed however only the volume spread analyzer II goes on the chart, you will see their are multiple buy and sell signals in the code and on chart.

only 1 entry confirmation needed....when a green buy signal happens, the ea waits to see if the next bar closes bullish, if so a long trade is entered however if it closes bearish their is no trade and the ea resets to look for the next signal. when a red sell signal happens the next bar must close bearish then a trade is entered if the next candle instead closes bullish their is no trade.

if the next candle opens and closes at the same point their is no trade.

I attached a pic with explanations for you

    Thanks!

    Lucky

    hi there Lucky

thanks for sharing the system with us, but i was wondering how about SL and TP. i see that on your second valid buy it did go the opposite direction do you keep it open and add to it when another valid buy comes? or wait for a sell signal to close the buy? or maybe you have a set of TP and SL.

can you please shed some info on this

    Thanks

I tyically scale out 1/3 lot size at 6 13 and 20 pips, however the last 1/3 I like to let run....at 6 pip move stop to break even, at 13 pips move to 5+

for Stop losses I put initial stop 5 pips under or over signal bar. so stops are not big but don't get hit often. if i go long and get a bearish candle after I'm in, I move stop up tighter and watch next candle to see how it will close, to see if I need to bail out.

if your in a long trade and your in positve pips you can get out at first bearish candle visa versa for sell instead of scale out too. I always been in habit of scaling out $ tho

this morning, UJ on 1 hours had perfect sell, I scaled out like normal and the last 1/3 of lot I took profit at 60+ at first bull candle

I trade 1 hour charts, u don't need any other lagging indicators and create indicator hell, just this and watch how the candles closes.

if candle after signal candle opens and closes the same, wait until the close of next candle to confirm direction.

    thanks

nope, i stick with 1 hour, however if you use a low spread pair you can scalp off lower time frames all day, scale out trade and move stops and it will work

I like VSA and am incorporating it in my manual trading. Looking forward to Funyoo making an EA for this.
