    Default Force Macd

Found this My FORWARD test (735,85% in 2 years) not BACKTEST - MQL4 forum

It's a tiny description, but maybe enough to create an EA ?:

"Well, this EA is based in MACD crosses, but, we know that is almost impossible get some good result just with. Is necessary something that say what is the "force" of the trend. The main secret here is that I found a way to calculate the force of the new trend, and for that I uses ADR + stdDeviation. It is the secret.

    Then, we have:

Is this a good entry point? == YES
Does this new trend have force? == yes
    then buy/sell

    but

Is this a good entry point? == YES
Does this new trend have force? == NO
    then do NOT buy/sell

And I have other instrunctions like: Close an order when the trend change, etc."

    Hi CycleTrader,

    Thanks for sharing this information.

The ADR is the Average Daily Range.

I have made an EA with the following options :

    Code:
extern int forcemode=0; // 0 compare the adr to the adr average, 1 to the minimum and the maximum
extern int adraverage=10; // average daily range value for the average
extern int bar=0; // bar to study for the adr
extern int macdmode=0; // 0 main cross with signal, 1 main cross with zero line, 2 main goes up or down
extern int macdfast=12; // macd fast ma
extern int macdslow=26; // macd slow ma
    extern int macdsma=9; // sma
extern bool mafilter=false; // moving average filter
extern bool maexit=false; // exit on new moving average trend
extern int maperiod=10; // ma period
extern int shift=1; // bar in the past to take in consideration for the signal
