Thread: Fusion V 1.1a

  1. #1

    Default Fusion V 1.1a

As most of you are probably aware the forex world cup has just released an EA named Fusion V 1.1a, after running a competition to find the best non commercial EA and now using the top three they have programmed this super EA.

Apparently this EA is a true MULTI STATEGY EA,

    - Scalping
    - Swing trading
    - Short term trading
    - Short term reversal
    - Price action - only trading

This got me thinking......with all the fantastic EA's on this forum and so many different strategies, would it be possible for us all to come up with the best EA's for these multiple stategies and with funyoo's brilliant programming skills......build the most ULTIMATE EA ever????

I hope we can all jump on board and possibly build the most ULTIMATE EA that this forum has seen so far..........yes I am excited!!!!
    Please add your thoughts/ideas.

    Hi all,

    I have bought it;
Here some experience after running 1 day:
    - it is compound from the top 5 finalists LMDMulticurrency, HiRider, SuperVolcano, StraashaSystem, Negative Correlation.
    - HiRider is a scalper. For your Info it has TP ~ 7 - 12 pips vs SL ~ 210 pips,
so a risk:reward = ~ 30:1 ; This is suicid !! for small accounts up to 1000 -2000 $. It places ~ 10 trades at once. In my 1 day account it won 10 eurusd orders. I think it is not so more different than Donchian Scalper/ Multichannel RSI scalper in this forum if we speak about scalping methods.
    - Straasha System is somekind of martingale; there is no so much info in their docs about it, but as we know, a martingale, almost always will blow up the account; so read 'suicide' also. It won 2 trades on eurgbp if I remember correct in 1 day in my account.
    - NegCorrelation, its name says all; works but with very few trades; has a reasonable SL/TP ~ 100:100 pips but it aims also for small profit alos, eg for 10 -20 pips as far as I saw in my account.
    - SuperVolcano appears a more realistic robot; Has produced 1 trade in a day here and won it also. However, it places
the orders without SL. So, if your ISP network provider or electric provider works like bulshits providers and you get disconnected from the network, the order remain under no control, so the chances to loose it increases.
    - LMD Multicurrency is the best in my oppinion. From their manual pdf it appears it is built using chart patterns; no indicators. The author says the chart patterns are more stable to the market changing conditions; It places orders with SL/TP ~ 4:1 but not for all, using daily chart. The orders are placed at the start of the day taking into consideration the previous 4-7 days H/L and some patterns. In my 1 day of trading it lost 4 trades. Lucky with me I used only 0.01 lots .
Also, LMD asks to have opened one chart for all pairs under trading but the robot must be attached only to one. So, for 7 pairs, 7 charts must be opened. They say if the charts are not opened a 'zero divide' error will appear and no orders will be placed. Since I am a developer with 10yrs experience, this 'zero divide' error is a programming error coming from this, example:
    int a = 2; double b = 0.1; a = b; double c = 3/a; You would think the 'c' result is 30, but it isnt; 3/a will provide 'zero divide' error because 'a' is 0 and not 0.1. This because a = b makes 'a' zero and not 0.1 since 'a' is an integer.
So, shortly, it appears there are programming errors in the robot; I think there are also other errors.
Another shortly, they provide in documentation some backtests for above ones. What I saw, is no much different from what exists in this forum; so keep trying here on this forum to get better and more stable robots.
Dont get so excited; I think the finalists had some more luck than the other compettitors; they also used high risk in competition as I see.
Per totally, the Fusion appears to be an enough good robot having in the view the live results from their site, but , personally , I think it must be used only for some large accounts, eg, deposit > 5000 $ using reasonable risk.
I think also you must have a very stable network connection, large broadband, powerfull pc and power-off protection.
Since I dont have a large deposit, I stopped using it after 1 day of trading and I will wait to re-use it until I will have at least 5k in account.

    Regards,
    tek

Yes I totaly agree, I believe that any one of funyoo's EA's could have easily had the same results if not better, that's why i'm excited..
1,000 dollars is a lot of money to invest based on 2 months of live trading..
It just got me thinking that we could combine the top EA's right here on this forum to produce an EA that trades in all market conditions, 24/5.
I know funyoo can do it, and it may take a lot of time and testing, but If it can be done I'm prepared to pay for it.
If funyoo thinks it's a waste of time then he can delete this thread and we move on.

Default I agree with all of you here

    Hi all,

I also agree with all of you here that Funyoo is among the best EA programmers I have heard and known so far.

There are many potential good and profitable EAs in this forum. However, because each of these EAs have their own strategies, and do not work in ALL MARKET CONDITIONS (Sideway, range-bound, trendy, etc), they are still not perfect yet, and of course, they will need further improvements and perfections.

If Funyoo read through all the information of these FRWC EA Winners about how they could have good ideas to code their EAs for the competitions, Funyoo can make a much better and much more profitable EAs with lower drawdown than these EAs.

Of course, it will need 1 - 2 months for Funyoo to focus on his work. But I believe if Funyoo wishes, he will be able to create a few Great Performance EAs without any problems.

All of us here are willing to pay a certain fee to support his hard work and devotion without any problem.

I hope Funyoo will consider all of our wishes here and can agree to make Great Performance EAs in this good year, 2010.

    Thanks and regards,
    James

The idea looks like to Switch Strategy EA. It has certainly potential. It would be interesting indeed to add in the future the best strategies for scalping, swing, martingale, ... and see what happens.

Note that the Forex Robot World Cup certainly doesn't exist, I have never heard about it.

Their demo statements can easily be fakes.

There is a forward test here :

Fusion Bot Expert Advisor Demo Test by ForexPeaceArmy.com

But it is done with an unknow broker.

Well I spent the dough to try the Fusion, Used on DEFAULTS as recommended but used .1 lot instead of the .01 lot they recommend. Blew up the $1000 account. Straasha system really seemed to be the best system, but has no stoploss and no way to shut off the martengale. For $1000 purchase I was under the understanding that the $1000 membership entitled you to The EA's from the Competition as well as Fusion and any other Future EA's they produce from upcoming competitions. But that does not appear to be the case as you will see from the below conversation I had with support. Currently the Fusion EA on their own Live account has an equity of only $903 since it started about 1 month ago. So it hasn't made 354% in only 19 days, ...and so much for doubling your account monthly as they claim too.

Here is the conversation between myself and support:

You are now chatting with Scott (General Questions)

Scott: Hello, how may I help you?
    Steven Souders: Hello
Steven Souders: With the $1000 purchase of the Fusion EA and all the Winning Ea's, does that also entitle us to future EA's that you develop from future competitions too? Or will future EA's cost more?
Steven Souders: Because so far I am not to impressed with the FUSION and I am trying to decide whether or not to keep it as the $1000 was pretty Steep.
Scott: Unfortunately we can't provide you with such information right now.
Steven Souders: Well the reason I'm asking is that is the way the Intro Page made it sound, so I wanted Clarification to help justify the $1000. As I quote right from the Page: "C.- All creations in the EA Lab are based on the top ranking FRWC competition robots. In other words, robots that have ALREADY proven to be the best of the best and now is the time to make them better!

Be sure...you will ALWAYS get the best of the best from us...but more important:

You will always get a better Forex robot than the previous one! We Will ALWAYS raise the bar."
Steven Souders: Because so far I am not to impressed with the FUSION and I am trying to decide wether or not to keep it as the $1000 was pretty Steep.
Scott: Have you downloaded new updated version Fusion 1.2? Many mistakes are corrected in 1.2 version.
Steven Souders: No, I did not know there was a new version. What has been changed? Is there a stop loss added into the Straasha system? And have they added in the ability to shutoff the martengale as well?
Scott: There was Money Managment system corrected. You can download new version fo free in your members area and try to use it.
Steven Souders: I have been following the FUSION Live Account you have going and it has not been faring very well even at .01 lots, is it using Version 1.2?
Scott: I actually can't tell you what version is there, I guess 1.1a
Steven Souders: The Straasha System seems to be the best performing unless it gets into a single bad trade, Do they Plan on adding the option to add a stoploss and the ability to shutoff the Martengale?
Scott: I think no, but you can turn off Straasha in Fusion preferences.
Steven Souders: So, the main reason I was contacting you was about the Issuance of New EA's from the so called "EA LAB" and wether or not our membership was granting us access to future EA's without additional charges as that was what the web page implied, but you say you cant answer that. So who can I speak to, that can answer that?
Scott: Yes, you will able to access to future EA' without additional charges.
Scott: I've just confirmed this information
Scott: But only the EA's from EA LAB
Steven Souders: So any EA's that you come out with after future competitions are also available to us at no additional charge????PLEASE CONFIRM FOR ME.
Scott: No, I can't tell you about future competitions..
Steven Souders: What EXACTLY do you mean by "only the EA's from EA LAB"? and wouldn't the EA LAB be the ones working on EA's from the future competitions?
Scott: Only EA's from EA LAB will be available but not from future competitions.
Steven Souders: wouldn't the EA LAB be the ones working on EA's from the future competitions?
Steven Souders: So Basically were not really going to see any NEW EA's, but maybe just small improvements in the FUSION, like 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 ect.????
Steven Souders: Is that what your saying???????
Steven Souders: Hello Are you there????
    Steven Souders: Hello, Hello, Hello???????
Steven Souders: I guess you don't want to answer that question, huh?
Steven Souders: Well, I've waited 15 minutes for you to answer that question, and now you simply won't even respond. I guess I'll post this conversation on the BLOG so everyone will know the truth.

    Default Hi

    Hi,

I just want to share your experience when using Fusion, Hirider, LMD, and Supervolcano on my 2 live accounts at FXDD and Interbankfx:

    1. Fusion and Hirider: look for small profits, while when market goes against the trades, big drawdown and huge floating loss of around 200 pips per trade. Terrible.

    2. Supervolcano: Yesterday, it suffered big floating loss of around 400 pips, and now gbpjpy moved up a bit. Currently, around 300 pips floating loss on 1 trade. Too risky

    3. LMD: Same as above. Always big floating loss or big losses of closed orders.

I can not believe how they could bring up such amazing results of over 350% in 19 days. Those results should be FAKE ONES.

Also, I hate people who sell SCRAP EAs at such high prices. I already asked for full refund, because I don't expect they can improve anything in their future versions.

If they are serious and good programmers with experienced trading, they should have made all these EAs COMPLETE and NEARLY PERFECT before launching their sales. They are so hurried to get money from NAIVE TRADERS.

Anyone still interested in their EAs, please test them all ON DEMO ACCOUNTS before using on live accounts, because I have lost more than 600usd in just few days by using these bad eas.

    Regards,
    James

er, sorry steven souder, i dont represent the makers of fusion EA nor have i tried it. but i'm sorry you cant complain that it blew up your $1000 little account when BY YOUR OWN ADMISSION you used 0.1 instead of the recommended 0.01 lot size. forgive me if i have got something wrong, but if you use ten times the lot size recommended you're hardly in a position to complain are you? thats just very very stupid on your part. again , forgive me if i have gotten something wrong from your post.

Blown up account with this ea is no matter of 0.01 or 0.1. In both cases the account is blown. I have acces to the live version of the makers, placed on fxcm
mt4. Yesterday the account went from 1332 to around 530! I followed what happend: fresh money went into the account! In total there has been a deposit of 1826.12 now, where there was lost -820.70. So this fusion is overheated and you will get burned!
