    Default Mamethod, maprice question!

    Funyoo

    I am not sure where to place this question, In a lot of your EAs they have these two options, mamethod, maprice, could you tell me what they mean and what are the ranges they use when doing optimization.

    Thanks!

    Hi maree43,

    Mamethod = moving average method.

    0=simple,
    1=exponential,
    2=smooth,
    3=linear weighted.

    Maprice = price to which we apply the moving average.

    0=close,
    1=open,
    2=high,
    3=low,
    4=median,
    5=typical,
    6=weighted close.
