    Default Pair Boxing EA request.

Hi FunJoo; found these that present great potential, except that you have to be glued to your PC during the three sessions. This boxes the same 7 pairs in the 3 sessions, around the clock. Easy to have 7 charts open to manage them but it is time consuming. Could you make an EA out of these?

Basically, I would like that for any given session, translate the signals to an automated entry order with a target profit. I'm using Pipboxer to handle the order from then on, but if you add your usual extras, this won't be necessary.

    Many thanks. Dan

Could you explain briefly how this box trading system works? Thanks.

I will only attempt to explain some of it, since I don't know much about the EA's /templates. I got them right here, under Commercial Manual Systems->FXTrade Rider Manual System thread...there is a link to some free EA's and this one caught my attention.

By its name, boxing pairs assumes an inverse relationship between given pairs, for example if USDCAD goes down, another pair with either USD or CAD might have the opposite effect and price will go up. I guess it will take a programmer to read into the code to see if the signals make sense. For what I've been testing, it works for the NY session, London session and Asian session. On any given session, you might see values changing from dull gray with LT and ST (long term/short term expected price) to turning either red (down ) or green (up) price and only showing a ST price. For example when I was trading USDCAD under the Asian session, price was going down at 1.0214, but the signal was red with a ST of 1.0260, so I placed a buy signal...and got a few pips. Since there are no instructions or anything else with this set, I've been trying to separate each component to see what it does....and found something else interesting...( I moved around the indicators and made a new template). Again, assuming that it is really doing some boxing; I picked AUDUSD when it lined up on W1(week) D1(day) and MN (minute?) and placed a buy order...so far so good. Of course, all of this in Demo.

correction to the above...MN is month, so it goes MN month, W1 week, D1 day....nice long-term approach
