Thread: Donchian-RSI-MA Cross EA

    Default Donchian-RSI-MA Cross EA

    Hi Funnyo,

Would you please create an EA for this interesting strategy?

    Indicators:
-Donchian bands (it could be the one you've used with donchian scalper)
    -RSI
-MA Cross (with shift option) - Fast MA=9; slow MA=26

TF H1 - Any Pair (but mainly EU)

    Buy Trigger:
-After price touched the lower band, look for prior RSI crossing > 50, and wait for the fast MA cross from below the slow MA (this should be the exact order of the indicators to consider a valid signal).

    Sell Trigger:
-After price touched the higher band, look for prior RSI crossing < 50, and wait for the fast MA cross from above the slow MA (this should be the exact order of the indicators to consider a valid signal).

    Features:
-Partial Close (with option to close a greater % at first or last - e.g. 20%-80% or 80%-20%)
    -Martingale with fibonnacci progression

    Thank you very much

    Kind Regards,

    LV

P.S.: Would appreciate your answer to my previous request of: Price and MA Cross EA - modification

    Hi Funnyo,

I've tried the EA and it's missing the option for MA's price and method...
It seems the MA's shift it's not working....

    Could you correct that please?

    K.Regards,

    LV

    Hi Funnyo,

I think you've forgot to add the MA's price and MA's type options (e.g.: Close; Exponential).
    Could you add them, please?

    Cheers,

    LV

    Hi Funyoo,

Could you please do optimization and backtesting of this EA on Eurusd and Gbpusd, 1h timeframe, and post preset file here?

    Thanks a lot,
    James Phuc
