Thread: Firebird v63G trader seven Heiken Ashi

Default Firebird v63G trader seven Heiken Ashi

    Hi,

I'm currently running an EA on a 5m chart. The EA is meant to be traded as a long only or short only depending on the trend. I use indicators on the daily chart to decide the trend and which way I want the EA to trade.

Here is my question: Is it possible to have the EA on the 5m minute chart look at the daily chart and decide to be in long mode or short mode? I'm not asking for someone to create this EA, I'm just wondering if it is possible.

    Thanks

    funyoo,

Yes, that's the one. I'm using the EA and the Daily Template from the first page. I haven't done enough backtesting on it like you now require, but what are your thoughts on building the EA to make it fully automatic based on the daily chart arrows? If not, I understand. I just thought I'd ask since you know what EA I'm talking about.

If you agree it's worth creating, please let me know first because something needs to be done with the current open trades. My original thought was to automatically close them right away when you get a different trend direction. What do you think? Or would it be best just to let the trade ride until it hits the T/P or S/L?

    Thanks

    funyoo,

Thank you very much for this. I'm trying it on a demo account. I'll let you know how it goes.

Can I run this EA on few pairs at the same time? I could find Magic number in the set up option. Does EA changes Magic number automaticly on each pair?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi kramlon and welcome,

You only need to change the magic number if you attach the code on several charts of the same pair.

    Funyoo,

Do you have to change the slip to 10 for a 4 digit broker account?

Also, can this EA be updated to open a trade on a NEW signal versus in the middle of a trend? TIA!

    Hi Funyo,

How can i alter this EA to trade the M1 but it is actually looking at the M5? So the trade on M1 will commence based on the trend on the M5; when up trend begin in M5, the M1 will only trade the long side and automatically close all position when change of trend ensued in M5. Thanks.
